Remarks

The admission process here is quite smooth. The Gujarati Linguistic Minority Admissions open before the CAP rounds. Also, if the seats are still empty they avail new admissions after CAP rounds too. We can even change the branch after the seats are still available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the Information technology branch. According to me, it is the best course offered by K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and I.T. Department of technology empowers its student to become the technological leaders of tomorrow by imparting quality education and knowledge of cutting-edge technologies like ML, IoT, AI, Big Data analytics, Block chain etc.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship opportunities are offered by the Information Technology department during the summer and winter break. They are based on industry requirements like Web Development, Android Development, Data Science, and so on...

Placement Experience

The placements start from Semester 7. Companies like Wissen, Visible Alpha, Accenture, and many other startups, as well as known companies, are visited onCampus. The highest package is 11 LPA CTC and the average package range from 4 to 5 LPA CTC.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a minimal fee hike every year. Being an autonomous college the fees is affordable. College also offers various scholarships for students. EBC and all other minority categories are also provided with financial assistance.

Campus Life

Every year there are 2 major fests hosted by the college RENAISSANCE i.e. technical fest and SCORE & SURGE i.e. cultural fest and sports. Library offers a lot of books based on the curriculum as well as for different competitive exams. Labs at the I.T. department are well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

For the hostel currently, students need to travel to Vidyavihar Campus but a new Hostel is under development besides the college. The hostel offers Gym, Canteen as well as all the required amenities.

NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
