I applied for the Chandigarh university but i was unable to attend the counseling due to health issues so i decided to go to THE NORTH CAP UNIVERSITYwhich is very near to my hometown and it has high placements as compared to Chandigarh University.I don't have any quota so and i m general so it was very difficult for me to get a government college and the next best option seemed to be the north cap university as it provides you with the best of opportunities. Well talking about the admission criteria i was very lucky as when my admission was done it was the year 2020 and i got admission on the basis of my class 12 marks and they only asked for my 12th class mark sheet and my jee scorecard which was only for the proof that i attended the jee exam. The admission can be done very easily the staff is very cooperating they firstly give you a form to fill which is very simple and then they ask for necessary documents such as mark sheet and rest is done you only have to pay the fees and done

I am a student of b tech data sciences i choose this course cause it provides me with the maximum placement opportunities in my college it is the best course in our college and it provides me with various opportunities so i choose data sciences. In our class, there are six subjects and seven faculties and there are 40 students in each class. All faculties are very helpful and highly qualified most of the faculties are IITians and they provide you with the best experience if i talk about my experience may have been in this college for 1 year and the teachers seemed to be very friendly and helpful . the exams are conducted twice every semester like first minors are done and then the majors

there are a lot of internship opportunities in college as i have said earlier various companies like amazon and Flipkart come to the college with various opportunities but it is in the hands of the students to make full use of the opportunities. the placement programs are in the campus itself and the students get placed in very big companies like amazon for a great package. i am not placed by the college nor i have had any internship so i colud not talk about the overall experience but as i have listened from the seniors the placements and the internships are really well and they are very helpfull for your future.

The internships are available for the students in the third semester and the placements start from the seventh semester of the degree. various companies like amazon Flipkart tcs come here for the opportunities for the students and there is an average package of 60 lakhs per annum .

The fees seem to be quite high but if you see for your future it is worth paying the fees is around 1.5 lakhs per semester and they also provide scholarships to the toppers and also on the basis of your 12th boards result and also on the basis of your jee mains scorecard there are several scholarships on the basis of your performance in the respective exams. there are various types of scholarships for students and the college vcan provide you with the oportunities but to make full use of the is in your hands

There is a momentum fest in the college which happens every year in the college and moreover, the fresher's party is inside the college and outside the college which is informal and for the students. The college library is full of knowledge and you can find various kind of material over there from technical to literature you can have anything over here there is very quiet and fully air-condition and very peaceful. The calss rooms are fully air condition and they have a biometric system for the attendance which is very helpful. the sports are very prioritised in the university mainly like volleyball and basketball and cricket . There are many clubs and societies in the college not only inside the college they work outside the college as well.
