All about Graphic Era University

I didn't apply for any other college. I availed the quota of general students . minimum 70% in 12 th boards, no age restricrion Due to the Covid outbreak i had an online admission process and it was smoothly done.

I had an interest in computer applications so I chose this course. 40:2 is the student to faculty ratio The faculty members are highly qualified. Due to corona the exams were a bit delayed but it was easy to pass

Students can get internship opportunities according to their performance in exams as well as co curricular activities. Their are quite good companies that visit our college for internship. To build a good resume a student needs to work on projects for placements as well as for internship . If you have done good projects in your course you get a plus point in front of the interviewer.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year i.e from 5th semester for engineering students . The university invites more than 150 companies every year. Some of the major recruiters of GEU, Dehradun are Samsung, Wipro, Axis Bank, Vodafone, HCL, Genpact, Syntel and IBM. The package depends on the course you have opted for , like for engineering students the average package this year was 8 lakhs and the maximum package was 48 lakhs whereas for BCA students the maximum package is 6-7 lakhs. Almost all the students get placed except for 1 or 2 . Even they get placed after some traning provided by the college. Currently I don't have any plans regarding future , I am just trying to make my present the best and then let's see how the future unfolds.

The fee structure is pretty decent and affordible for a middle class person Students who score above 90% in 12th are given 40% scholarship in their fee curriculum, 30% scholarship for students who score above 80 and 20% scholarship for atudents who score above 70

Grafest is the annual fest and is held in december The library has a wide range of books and journals available for everyone including online ebooks. The classroom is very spacious for 50 students to study together , surrounded by windows as well as Air conditioners. students are encouraged for sports and each student has to take part in regular extra curricular events as a necessity. geuofficial is run by students of Graphic Era . There are several hostels for girls as well as boys according to their preference. I took 3 sharer Non AC room in the main campus, the room was big with 3 single beds ,separate desks ,big almirah for each , 5-6 electric sockets . According to me the room was good. The meal quality was decent as in all hostels , cleanliness was maintained , and the best part is that the food doesn't drip with excess oil.
