Remarks
I got admitted through cet marks though Dmce was not my first choice was VJTI and then KJSomaiya but as soon as I got dmce I panicked and frozen my choice due to lack of time. The admission criteria for DMCE is 100+ marks in cet for civil/mech. 110 + for any other branch i.e comp and chemical.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer engineering due to its scope and now I can say I made mistake but I am passionate about ui/ux so computer engineering will help me in it. For every 40 students, there is one faculty who guides and faculty are very supportive and focus on the individual growth of students. Almost all faculties are BTech graduates and few are masters as well as Ph.D. too. Term exams are twice a year before the semester paper as a test for students and it helps us to be prepared for our exams.
Internships Opportunities
Our colleges provide internships with companies like uto solution, Capgemini with a stipend of 6000 rs the roles offered are software developer and web developer. Projects based on AI/ML and many more interesting topics are seen every year.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement from sem 5. Many students get placed in sem 5 in companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS. Last year's highest package was 12 LPA and the Average is 3 LPA almost 10-15 percent of students get placed in sem 5 and 40 Percent gets placed in last year. I am passionate about ui/ux and want to pursue a career in it.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am still a student here thou I can say many of my seniors got amazing packages. This year the Highest package was 12 LPA and the average LPA is 3. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, etc come here every year and few students get the opportunity to prove themselves in these companies.
Campus Life
There are many clubs run by students. Codechef is one of them handled by students In this the students compete for competitive programming and increase their domain of programming each and every day. Another one is the GDSC Google Developer Students club this focuses on overall growth and learns more about AI/ML topics etc.
