Career development in IMNU

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.

This is a 2-year full-time residential programme and follows trimester systemOffered me dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Management, Operations Management, International Business, and Business Analytics. At the end of the first year, I was required to undertake a project assignment for a minimum of 8 weeks in an organization. The Faculty strived to provide the best education to the me. University has regular, Contractual, and visiting faculty members for its every department and each faculty has a minimum of Master Degree. I believe that the course is highly relevant to the current market.

The internship process is very smooth. I chose internship in finance field as I wanted to gain practical experience. One of my friends got his own internship through his personal link. I got a paid internship and personally feel it is the best way to learn about the work culture.

The placement model is a four-stage process, involving the pre-placement activities, Career Guidance, Executing Placement, and Post Placement reviews. The first-year fees was approximately 5,00,000 including tuition fees around 11000 and examination fees around 15000. The total fees of the 2 years were 1000000. I took financial aid that helped me to reduce some fees pressure.

There are 26 clubs and committees in the college for overall development of students. I got lot of exposure and confidence to show my talent. Many fests, placement expo, discussion and debated were also organized that gave me a chance to interact with new people.

The classrooms, labs and library are fully air-conditioned because of the weather of the city. Wi-Fi facilities were available all the time. The campus has sports like badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket etc. My room was semi-furnished with an attached washroom and was near the campus.
