Experience at IIIT-Hyderabad

IIIT is a prominent institute under IIIT group and that's why I decided to opt for it. The institute was 43 for BTech in 2020 rankings of NIRF and it was accredited with Grade''A'' by NAAC.It is approved by UGC & AICTE also. Admissions to the institute are based on the score in JEE Main/IIIT-H score of applicants after which the interview round was also conducted.

Computer Science is the most famous branch of BTech and IIIT-H is one of the best places in Hyderabad to pursue it. The modern course curriculum & infrastructure of the institute also works to affect the learning of the students positively. The institute gives practical considerations along with theoretical knowledge for the students.

The Internship offer I got was worth INR 27,000 for the 7 week time duration and It helped me to learn about great industrial work exposure. I really enjoyed being there and hopefully It will be beneficial in my future also

The BTech program got pretty handsome packages during the 2020 campus drive and the highest package for our program stood at INR 39 LPA. The salary package I got was worth INR 18 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting firms during the campus placements were Infosys, HCL, Microsoft, Mahindra and Tata Group.

The total fee for the BTech-CSE program at IIIT Hyderabad is INR 12 Lakhs and it is equally distributed among the 8-semesters of the course. The students who are not capable of paying this fee can apply to get financial grants/aid under the rules set by the institute and government.

The campus of our college is spread over 60 acres and has a good green environment for the students. The events like sports competitions, cultural fest and other academic activities were quite famous among the students and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of them. The library was my favourite part of the college, because I have always been a reading lover and it gave me all what was required for my all-round development.

I was born and brought up in Hyderabad and have done all my prior education here, this is the reason I haven't opted for hostel accommodation during my graduation days and being a day-scholar was a good all-round experience for me. I got to learn about the hostel services from some of my friends and they used to admire the facilities they've got there too at very affordable prices

Admissions to IIIT Hyderabad are totally based on the score of applied candidates in JEE main or IIT-H entrance test. Applicants are shortlisted on these scores and then shortlisted one's have to appear for the interview round and thus admissions are given.
