Great Learning

Great Learning is a great platform that provide several PG as well as certificate courses of students that is having great value. My program was offered by McCombs School of Business at University of Texas in collaboration with Great Learning. This institution is ranked no 2 in the world by QS world university rankings. I applied for the course of 11 months. I filled the application form for admission in my program, after which I was called for an interview. Selection criteria was the Interview round.

Reason why I chose this course is the rapid growth and increasing demand of this course in 21st century. The course curriculum is very good and sufficient to get us good jobs. The teaching is very good even if a beginner students understand everything clearly as they start from basics. The professor's clear our doubts within the class and if we have any other doubts we can clarify it with the teachers after the class or in doubt clearing sessions that are organized. Lecture videos are recorded so if I missed any class I would get to the recorded sessions this way my studies would never get affected.

Great Learning is having their seperate portal to apply for jobs and we can for jobs from there. We have higher chances of getting shortlisted as we have done our PG from there only. They help us in making resumes as well. They help us to make our LinkedIn account look much attractive which will help us grab attention of more recruiters. They also conduct mock interview for our practice for the real interview. The recruiting partners of Great Learning are Mahindra, FedEx, Uber, Tech Mahindra, Nielsen, HSBC, Ugam, eClerx,etc. The salary package offered by these companies is very good.

The total tuition fees for the program is Rs4,25,000Lakh. The institute also provides financial aids as they have ties with HDFC Credila, Zest Money, etc that provides educational loans to the students at a good rate of interest even without collateral.

The campus is very good and well equipped with various facilities. The classrooms were very big and spacious having AC. The classrooms had advanced facilities like microphones, projectors, etc for better learning. Many career fest's, webinars,etc were also organized by the college. Study material related to the course is given online so we don't have to buy books, but if someone wants they can buy books for their reference as well.

I was shortlisted for the interview round where I had to prove myself to get selected. There were various questions about the current affair, the current scenario of the business world and my opinions about various topics were also asked. I prepared for the PI round by regularly reading a newspaper and giving mock interviews.
