Maharashtra Common Entrance Examination (after 12th.) I scored 133/200 Why did you opt for this particular college. I was looking for the best engineering college after my 12th and i got to know the positives about this college like reputation, result, Campus, experienced teaching staff and about on Campus selection which triggers me to opt for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was quite innovative with the way college is handing like Avishkar program and department level programming language completions arranged apart of academic work. The last year project was also an innovation as we have got an opportunity to develop an ERP system for a Mechanical Industry.
Internships Opportunities
College was not providing any internship. Usually student have to arrange for it as per there interest.
Placement Experience
I would say CEK was one of the best College in Maharashtra which offers in Campus job to the students in various stream. We had almost 90-100% placement department wise with few of the finest companies plan recruitment as below Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, TAL, Nihilent, Persistent, BPCL, Indian Army.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was very Feasible for Non Open Category. I remember Annual Fee was just 600 Rs. so that any student who got this college can complete it without any problem. For Open Student :- 24000 Rs which was also not that high compared to other any college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Student Loan was available for those who needs it. As all the admissions were happening through Merit it was very easy and straight as well.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was varied across the department. However at college level statistics it was like 35 Girls and 65 Boys. Our college Sport was very strong in Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi. College level event was also with a high standard and we had a big Cricket Ground just behind the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was available with sharing room for 3 people with bare minimum and required facilities. This was also granted on merit and few students which didn't get admission they opt for Private. Almost 80% student get admission in hostel. There was no dedicated Hostel Mess as mostly Students come together and they plan some cooperative mess which was not part of college administration.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college plan alumni meet every year mostly in March and which is very enriching and good experience for those who are studying and those who are passed out.
Exam Structure
Exam were very strict even Internal and External oral as well along with written exam. There was no any scope to cheat and score. Students have to study hard and achieve the marks in order to get success. I was very happy with the way it was which results in producing quality engineers from my college and they are serving an making difference all over world because of College discipline.
Faculty
Faculty was very much interested in teaching and they were experts and highly qualified engineers who complete post graduation in there stream. Also students were getting opportunity to attend guest lectures arranged by College Department which was an very enriched experience for students in college life.
