Remarks

I got admission on the basis of my 12 marks. Just fill the admission form and follow all the procedures and submit all the required documents then after that a list of students is issued based on marks and then I got admission to GD college of pharmacy. The minimum marks required for B pharmacy admission was 60% in 12 classes and the fees for one semester are 40 thousand rupees so it's about 80 thousand per annum.

I did choose this course as I was interested in medical science although I wanted to become a doctor I didn't pass NEET so I choose to go with pharmacy. The faculty of pharmacy is highly qualified and has friendly behavior towards students. They are always ready to help each student. The teachers have masters and Ph.D. in their respective subjects and have good knowledge. There are 2 sessional exams in one semester and each student has to be present during the exam as this is an important exam as it is used for internal assessment. The exams are conducted every 3 months and the question paper was quite difficult as semester exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for B Pharmacy in GD memorial college is 80000 per annum. Students have to pay fees in 2 installments before each semester exam you have to pay 1 installment then you will get your hall ticket for the semester exam.

Campus Life

Every year sports day is organized and students from all faculty are allowed to participate in this. There are many types of sports competitions are held including games for boys and girls both games such as cricket, volleyball,kho-kho, kabaddi, etc are organized. The class is equipped with a projector for effective study. Books are available in the library insufficient stock for all students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams and their questions, I would rate the 8.5 out of 10 in term of difficulties because of twisted questions. In class their is always class test , assignments , and presentation which personaly I consider good to boost the confidence and presentation level. Teachers use both board and projector for teaching, it mostly depends on students how they want to learn. Companies like appollo come to tell us about them and how we can do better which is a good thing.

Placement Experience:

Probably i have heard that last semester students after internship are eligible for campus placements. University claim that many companies have visited to our campus which includes some famous companies like wipro, amzaon etc. The highest package i have heard is about 54 lakhs of btech cse student and average package remains about 4.5lakhs . I will look for the m pharm after completion of b pharma.
