Remarks
There were two modes, UGEE and JEE MAINS, the fees for which is high, but the process was easy Cutoff through JEE MAINS is 935 for CSE, there is 25% reservation for girl child. I also applied for NIT TRICHY and got there in first round, but then the coding environment here is good, and you don't have to study irrelevant topics like chemistry in 1st year which is indeed true.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for CSE program and for that matter, the studies and curriculum here is highly strict and very stressful. Sleepless nights are a perk of this college life. The studies here are highly competitive, so the JEE competition theme does not end there only, it is just shifted to the college to a greater extent. The faculty I would say is not that great jowever the resources they provide are very good.
Internships Opportunities
You can start as an intern in any company from 1st year, if you know things obviously. You can internship easily from this college, no suprises there. You can also get good stipend from here, and if you are lucky and hardworking, you may also get PPO(Pre-placement offer) in good companies.
Placement Experience
Placements here are remarkable for any college in India. There are 100% placements every year for 3 years in line with average package of 26 lacs per annum and lowest was 10 lacs per annum (2020 stats).
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for CSE stands around 16 lacs for four years taking into account the annual 10% fee hike. The tuition stands somewhere around 3lacs per year, hostels fess at 3k per month and mess fees at 3.5k a month. So the degree is quite expensive in that regard, but it's worth the pennies spent on it.
Campus Life
Campus life is dull here. Everyone discussing about assignments, exams etc. People spend most of there day and night's time doing academic work, and in the rest of the time, sleep. Though we have more than ample clubs for a college area of 61 acres, most of them are dormant and gets active only during the fest time. Fest is good here though, a week full of enjoyments and less stress.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are mandatory here for accommodation, and no, you can not spend hot days in pg and rest days in hostel. Hostels are twin shared with separate table and almirah and separate single bed without mattress, so you have to get your own. The bathroom for girls is attached, while for boys it is common washrooms on each floor. There is water cooler on every floor as well.
