Remarks

I chose LPU as it is near to Amritsar and also I love the city Jalandhar. The college is good in terms of studies, opportunities, and placements. Even few of my colleagues joined the same college to pursue MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the teachers of Lovely Professional University are well qualified and are very helpful not only professionally but also personally. This time we have a trimester system where we have a live project and also an internship.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 465000 per year

Placement Experience

We have almost 60-70 % placements and the major companies are Asian Paints, Berger is one of the top recruiting company in our college. Roles offered were sales executive, data visualizer, financial analyst.

College Events

Our college organizes One World fest and several small fests organized by student clubs. MBA has good opportunities and the skill set which I posses are there in it. Many top professors from top colleges take weekly seminars.

Campus Life

Campus of our college is very excellent. College has very big campus. It consulting 600 acres campus. LPU has 8 big hostel and clean hostel. Classes and labs are very big and well maintained. College canteen is having good food but mess food is not good enough.

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

Placement Experience:

In btech form the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. the highest placement is for 70,00,000 Lpa in btech. students of MBA also hold chances for placements. The placements are not in big 4 but still in genuine and great companies.

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

Khalsa college amritsar Pros cons

Placement Experience:

They provide placement in last year of course. The students visited the Reliance stores, amazon, icici prudentials etc. , Highest package given is 7 lac per annum and average is 5 lac per annum. 80% Students got placements each year. My plans is to pursue my llb degree in khalsa college of law amritsar after completing bcom degree and part time job

i didn't applied to any other college but my friends wrote the other entrance exams like srm and after getting the result and scholarship we campared the fee structure and facilities providing by the universities we thought that my university is better than those in every aspect. coming to the admission process you have to write an college entrance exam and you will get scholarship based on those marks and the eligibilty is 60% in 10th and 12th board to write that entrance exam....Read More
