Remarks

I have completed my Undergraduate degree from LPU itself. Later I took 2 years gap to gain experience by doing job. I chose LPU only to pursue my MBA as I really like its environment, the student crowd and the location too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members of this university are very experienced and very talented not only in their own but various fields. They are interactive and know how to handle students and classes well. They are very understanding and very helpful.

Placement Experience

MBA placements of our university are quite famous around India. Students have gone on to work with top companies around the globe with good salary packages. Every year almost 90% of students get placed in IT or some other companies.

College Events

I opted for his particular course because it is very famous and essential in the private sector. The specialty of LPU is that it not only focuses on academics but also on the overall development of its students. There are several events organized inside the campus by management and other active college clubs.

Campus Life

The infrastructure and facilities provided by LPU are not less than any 5-star hotels. The technology here is very advanced as fingerprint sensing, and face sensors are used for attendance. There are turnstile gates present for security. University has a university mall and university hospital inside its campus. It also has other facilities like sports complex, gymnasium, swimming pool, parks and several playgrounds.

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

Placement Experience:

In btech form the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. the highest placement is for 70,00,000 Lpa in btech. students of MBA also hold chances for placements. The placements are not in big 4 but still in genuine and great companies.

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

Khalsa college amritsar Pros cons

Placement Experience:

They provide placement in last year of course. The students visited the Reliance stores, amazon, icici prudentials etc. , Highest package given is 7 lac per annum and average is 5 lac per annum. 80% Students got placements each year. My plans is to pursue my llb degree in khalsa college of law amritsar after completing bcom degree and part time job
