Remarks

I applied for few colleges in the DOST application. My first priority was given to Kasturba Gandhi Degree College for Women. I got allotted on the basis of the percentage I secured. The admission is given to students who have more than 60% in Intermediate. I received a message of being allocated and when to visit the college for securing the seat. I visited the college with the allotment letter on the given date. Respected staff in the office given the admission form to fill. I submitted my admission form with allotment letter and few documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm the kind of person who is interested to learn new and exploring a variety of things. As Electronics is a new concept for me I opted for a b.sc(electronics) course. Coming to faculty, lectures have very good knowledge regarding the subject. Our class is of 49 members. Whenever students have/raise the doubts, lectures are pleased to explain irrespective of the number of times we ask. Degree exams are conducted every 6 months. If the faculty is good, if the students are well prepared then the difficulty of the exam reduces. If the exam paper is tough/difficult it depends on the individual performance.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Placement Experience

The eligibility criteria for campus placements is the final year. There are few companies I participated and the average package for the respective company is 1.5Lakh to 2lakh per annum. My plan is to study further after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for a bachelor of science is 22535. Yes, the scholarship is provided by the government. Campus placements/jobs are notified and we took the opportunity to participate in selections. We received notifications from TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Sutherland, etc companies. As for me, I want to study further and not interested to do a job currently.

Campus Life

Mostly, starting of the year annual fest is conducted. Our college is heterogeneous of sports, NCC, extracurricular activities. The library is also available. I'm a member of the NSS group. I was a volunteer done few activities. The green club is run by the students.

College for Bright Future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the bsc(MSCS) because i have interest on the physics and its related topics so, this made me to choose this course and i felt it was best. The course curriculum was well structured and prepared me for the real-world applications and their development. This was much useful for my higher studies. The 1st thing is i got conformation from koti women's college. But i choose kasturba because of its good teaching, well equipped lab facilities, cultural events , student growth programmes etc. I didnt get rejected from any college I've applied since i scored 978/1000 in my intermediate.
