Ground Reality of Jss Noida (CSE Branch)

I have applied for various colleges including much top government and private colleges of UP such as PSIT, KNIT Sultanpur, IET Lucknow etc. But Considering all the major factors such as placements, fees, record, Year of establishment, I choose Jss Noida. I took admission through my UPSEE scorecard. My rank was 3500 in the General category. I took the CSE branch as my first choice and got it up to 3rd round of counselling. I remember my counselling starts around July. Important documents required are - Copy of Adhar card - Passport size Photos - 10th and 12th Marksheet - UPSEE scorecard - Transfer certificate - Year gap certificate

I Choose CSE as my first preference and I got lucky and got the desired branch. I choose CSE because I think Technology can change the world in the current scenario every business head moving online so every with this is going to be related to technology. For eg. Every business Or company must need an app or a website so I see a lot of scope in the CSE branch. Faculty in my department per highly educated some of them for PhD holders and have more than 5 to 8 years of experience student to Faculty ratio 1 is to 20 but some of them followed the old teaching method that the downside some of them are less interactive with students. But overall the Faculty of my department was nice. There was two semester happen in every Year Every semester consists of 3 internal exams and one external exam.

For Internship therefore not many companies coming. These companies majorly looking for a particular skill set like Front end engineer, Backend Engineer Or Android Developer. With a Stipend ranging from 5000 to 20000.

Placement in my college was quite good when comparing to other colleges of UP. But the majority of them were mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro etc. But some good startups also hire from our colleges like Paytm, Gradeup etc... In recent years top MNC were also visited JSS like Adobe, Amazon etc. The highest package was 42 lakhs which was given by Adobe and the average were 5 lakh. Almost 70-75% students got placed in my branch ie, CSE who sit in the placements. Currently my plan is to secure a good placement.

Coming to fee structure my college to charges a little less comparing to other colleges in the vicinity of Noida City. If I want to give a rough estimate then there will be around 500000 for the whole four years of your engineering. You can also get a Scholarship if your Parents income is less than 2 lakh. Major Documents required are parent income proof. Scholarship can be availed every year.

Life in Jss Noida was pretty awesome if you are a hostel believe me you are going to have your best four years of life. There are no restrictions for boys ie, they can come and go outside the campus anytime they want there are some restrictions for the girls. Jss has a well maintained library with all the major book available to study. The seating capacity would be around 300 Students at a time. You can see a lot of crowd at the time of semester exams. Zealicon is The Annual Techno-Cultural festival of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. Some say it was the best four days of the entire year It usually happens at the time of February and March but its preparation started months before. It consists of various cultural and Technical events. One of the best part of JSS that it has a wide variety of society. If you have any talent or interest whether it is Coding Or Music. You can find your space.

The annual charge of the hostel was around 93018 for non AC rooms and 130000 for AC rooms at the time of my admission including the hostel and the mess fees which is quite costly as we can see. Getting a hostel in JSS Noida is quite difficult. If you need a hostel you have to be early for it. Hostels were allocated on a First Come First Serve basis. Mess food is ok but You will get meals 4 times a day comparing to other colleges where you will get only 3 times. The mess has a dedicated menu which is decided by our final year students only. You can also order food online 24x7.
