I applied for JEE Main counselling and I got IT to branch at Mizoram University. And alongside I applied for UPSEE counselling also. Through UPSEE I got IT branch in the first round at JSSATE, Noida, which was upgraded to CSE in the fourth round. But I preferred Noida over Mizoram. I always avoided the colleges in the North-East region. I was from General-EWS category and my UPSEE rank was 4244. You can take admission in JSSATE, Noida through JEE Main, because from 2021, UPSEE exam will not be held. All AKTU colleges will take admission on the basis of JEE Main rank, and 15% seats are for Management Quota. To appear In JEE Main, you should be 12 passed/appearing, with PCM. After appearing in JEE Main, you can get into AKTU colleges.

My choice was to study Computer Science and Engineering, because, it's one of the most demanded fields and I loved coding since my school days. Faculty: student ratio is fine. Almost all the faculty members are M.tech and some of them are PhD too. The teachers are good, but my study was very affected due to COVID. The teaching method of the faculty members is not up to the mark. It's fine but not the best. And due to this my 3rd sem result was also affected. Exams are held timely and are conducted by AKTU Lucknow. Odd sem exams are held in December and even sem exams are held in May. Copy checking scheme of AKTU is not so good, even if you attempt the whole paper correctly then also you cant except, that how many marks you will get.

Majority of the companies that come for on-campus placement, hire the android and web developer. Languages like C++,java and java script and python are preffered. Some companies hire for permanent roles only , but some of them come for ,both permanent role and interns also.

From the 7th semester you are eligible to sit for the placements. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM, NIIT technologies, BYJUS, Daffodil, Amazon India, WIPRO Campegimi and many more. In 19-20 around 134 companies visited the campus and about 569 students were placed, with average package of 4 lacs. You can visit the college website to check the NIRF report, for average package. I want to get placed in top companies and grab the highest package after getting my degree.

There is no hike in fees of the institution since I have taken admission, due to COVID. The fees of the course is Rs. 1,25,350/- and Hostel costs around Rs. 90000/- . Around 5% seats are reserved for fee waiver quota students. These students are meritorious and have to pay only the hostel fee and no tution fees . These students have not to pay the complete hostel fees, also, they have to pay only a little amount. UP scholarships also come for the students who applied for it, based on thier eligibility for the same. Currently I am in the 2nd year of my course, so I have not applied for the placements, yet. But some of my seniors told that placement is good, but not best.

Zealicon is the annual technical fest of the institution. It is conducted by the seniors, faculty members of the institution, in the month of March or April. All types of books like coursebook, magazines, competitive exams books and journals are available in the institution's library. You can easily get these books from the library. Sports environment in our institution is very positive in the institution. Sports like volleyball, football, cricket, badmintion,atheletics, etc. are held in the institution, and any one can participate in it. There are many clubs in the institution like DSC,NCS for CSE students and many social groups are also there.

There are 3 beds in one room. All the facilities are there in the room like, light,fan and you can use collers without paying any extra amount. Washroom is not in the room. Its in sharing. Every floor has around 40 rooms and 3 washrooms. The meal quality is not too good but fine. Its edible and sometimes it's not, but the menu is very good. After you get admission in the college then you can immediately get the hostel if the room is available. It may happen sometimes that the rooms are not available because there is first come first serve, so you have to look for PG or other hostels outside the campus, like many students, opt for Sanakriti Boys Hostel. PG's and hostels are easily available around the college and approximately with the same cost.
