The admission process is very simple at LPU. First, we have to do online registration on their portal and then there was one online test based on which scholarship was decided. For admission to LPU, one must have scored 55% in graduation. So after the test, a personal interview was scheduled in which they ask me about the reason why I chose LPU and the reason behind doing MBA and also asked questions related to the current corporate situation.

As I did my graduation in business administration, it was quite obvious for me to choose MBA in my further studies. And this course will also help me achieve my dream to start my own business. The student to faculty ratio is nice at college ( 50:1) and the teachers are well qualified and learned. They use to give their best while teaching and try to clear our doubt on real time basis. Exams are held on a trimester basis and due to pandemic exam are held online and they are quite interesting.

Many companies come to our college for recruiting intern from the very beginning of the semester. Internship opportunities are quite a descent in college. Companies like Amazon, Akshay Patra, BCG and many more come to our college to recruit students for various profiles. Stipend mainly depends on the company and the profile for which they are recruiting. From our batch, many students are being selected in Amazon for order processing profile and they are being paid 20000 per month.

As of now, I have not experienced the placement procedure as I am in my first year but as per the brochure of the college, placement is quite outstanding as they promise 100% placements from the college. So after appearing 4th semester, one is eligible to sit in the placement drive and before this college also ensures that students are also completely prepared as College also focus on grooming of the student. Companies like Amazon, Tcs, HUL, P&G and many more come to recruit students for their company and last year Highest package offered to one student is 21 lacs P.a and the average package is around 6-7 lacs p.a. As I said earlier I wish to start my own business after my MBA and college have guided me very well for this.

Fees are quite high at LPU. It costs around 400000 per year for MBA and University do provide scholarship on the basis of admission test. The maximum scholarship which can be claimed is 45% of the total fees. The maximum hike can be 10% of the tuition fees in our university according to the rules laid down by UGC.

A college is incomplete without its social life and LPU believes that social life is also important like studies. LPU conducts an annual youth fest in the month of March which is quite popular all over India and to complement this annual fest, various societies of college also organise their individual fest. Many big brands associate themselves with these fests for promotion. The library has a huge collection of books and you can find every book related to your course subject. It has a total of 4 large reading hall and each hall has approx 20 computers with an internet facility. College is also famous for its sports and cultural event which is held in the month of December.

I did face interview round during the admission process and it was quite informative. First, they ask about me and my goals, why I want to join LPU, like is there any specific reason behind it. And they also asked me a question about the subjects of graduation. The interview process was simple and the interviewer was quite friendly. For the interview round, I just stuck to my basics and read business magazines to get an overall knowledge of the economic environment which really helped me a lot in clearing the interview.
