All that glitters is not gold

It is the only University near to my location. And also even though you get 100k rank in your EAMCET there are high chances of getting a seat in the university. coz as many people don't know that university has college of engineering. The main reason I avoid other private colleges and decided to join in this university is coz its government university and I thought experienced faculty will teach us. But I'm wrong the faculty are the worst in teaching except one or two.Pros:Huge infrastructure with big classrooms.It has very big library ( Dr. B.R. ambedkar central library)Different hostels for girls and boysBig play groundStudent clubsUniversity Bank and aminities centreCanteen, Stationary are available.Peaceful EnvironmentCons:Faculty are not good(for Electronics Department since I'm from electronics department)No lab equipment( They said it will take time as we were the first batch)Food at hostels are not good.Bus facility only for girls.( Initially boys and girls are allowed but later it was only for girls)No college building for Engineering College - Our classes are arranged in science block and convention center.In my personal opinion it may take a few years for Engineering college to be build. It will has the best infrastructure.I recommend not to join in the university until the Engineering college is build and all the lab equipment arrived

Course Curriculum was good. Academics and Faculties are bad. student ratio 15 boys and 15 girlsAll the faculty are M.tech qualified. Teaching methods are bad.Term exams are mostly held in time.Comparing to other colleges our college has some difficulty to pass the exams, we should gain at-least 50% of the total marks of the exam, where as other colleges it was 35%

No internship is available with the college at present. But they have plans for the future to bring more opportunities for the students.

At present the placements cell is only focusing on the Computer science department.The university college of engineering had the following branchesIT and CSEECE and EIECIVIL and MECHThe placement cell is completely focusing only on software placements.No campus placements for remaining branches.

Students in Engineering get no stipend.Coming to the fee structure it was 35000 for tuition fee and 2500 for college development fund.If you are eligible for fee reimbursement the tuition fee 35000 is paid by government of Andhra Pradesh and students only have to pay 2500 college development fund.If you are not eligible for fee reimbursement you have to pay a total of 37500

Over all, life at campus is good. Students are allowed to participate in a large range of clubs, events, games, sports, cultural events.University has many student clubs. We also have NSS cell.College has the best Infrastructure
