BBA Hons at Mittal School of Business, LPU

The Lovely Professional University ranks under the top 50 Management schools of the country. With the best curriculum and the best campus, LPU has given wings to a lot of dreams. I am also a dreamer and am here to build my wings and fly high. I didn't apply under any quota. I was directly eligible for admission as I fulfilled the basic eligibility criteria- Minimum percentage required 70%. The admission procedures are very simple and not at all time-consuming. The applicants need to submit their forms with the documents and pay the amount to confirm their seat. The amount is later on adjusted in the first-semester fee.

I aspire to become an analyst in the future. As I was from a science background, therefore I think BBA hons. is my cup of tea. Thus, I am pursuing BBA Hons from Mittal School of Business, LPU. It is ACBSP accredited business school and well recognized on the global platform. The faculty members are very supportive and deliver the best teaching to the students. They have an open-door approach to reach their students. They all play a role more than just a course instructor- they inspire, they improve, they help us in every single way. Almost all of the mentors are Ph.D. degree holders. They got excellent knowledge and experiences in their subjects. We have six semesters in total. Every semester we got two examinations to appear for mid-term and end-term. The level of examinations is from easy to difficult.

The Lovely Management also provides internship opportunities to their final year students. By the end of the second year, it is mandatory for all BBA graduates to get into an internship with an organization. The duration of the internship should be one complete year. This practice prepares the students in an efficient way to get set for the corporate work environment. Thus all these projects were done while internships play a great role in recruitment and help the students to get the maximum package. The companies offering internships to versos include- TCS, Expressbees, Bluedart, Snapdeal, Wipro etc. The major roles offered are managerial posts like- HR manager, Marketing Manager etc. The highest stipend earned this year was INR 89,0000.

The placement cell of Lovely Professional University is known to provide great placements. The students become eligible for appearing in the placement drives by the end of their fifth semester. All the procedures like aptitude tests, group discussions, personal interviews begin from the 5th semester itself. The giants coming to campus for recruitment includes- TATA, Amazon, Cognizant, IBM, etc. The highest salary offered to a BBA Hons student is 15LPA and the lowest is 5LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 99%, and thus creates an unbeatable record like every year. I will be appearing for the placement drives once I get my degree.

To get the maximum advantage of the scholarship schemes, I appeared for the LPUNEST examination. It is a scholarship exam conducted for all the freshers after they get admission. I had to make the choice of any two subjects, English was mandatory. The exam was of moderate level, and basic knowledge of the subject was enough to score good marks. On my LPUNEST score, I goy a 30% fee waiver on the course fee. Thus I am able to save INR 15,000 every semester. Lovely Professional Campus has got so many luxuries. The auditoriums and theaters are one of them. The walls have witnessed so many great shows and events. The campus has been featured in so many video songs. The celebrities also kept visiting the campus. The popular events and fests of LPU included- Youthvibe, Cokestudio, Spectra, etc. Our classrooms are completely air-conditioned and digitalized. All the laboratories are well equipped. LPU's Central Library is one of the country's biggest library having more than 25,00,000+ ebooks, books, magazines, and journals. The big stadiums and gyms have been constructed to support the sports talents of the university. There are many students organizations are working inside the campus.
