LPU- A change

I applied for BIT Ranchi and Lovely Professional University. When I compared it on google- BIT didn't stand anywhere in front of LPU- there my choice LPU became my choice. There was no Group Discussion or Personal Interview for my course (BBA). I didn't apply under any quota. The minimum eligibility to take the admission was having a minimum score of 70% marks in board examinations. I had them. Therefore I was eligible. The process of admission included - filling the form, submitting the documents and confirming the seat by paying a small amount. The amount paid during the admission is completely refundable. They will add them to your first semester fees.

The Mittal School of Business (LPU-Management branch) follows an Industry Oriented Curriculum. It includes excellent quality of education and various skill enhancing activities. All our faculty members share a very frank relation with the students. In every important decision, they stand with us and guide us. The students are nothing without the teachers. They use several methods to make the most boring class interesting. And especially in these hard times, virtually- they give their best to make each and every student understand the concept and try their best to make maximum participation in the class. Through LPU Live messenger, they provide the best study material and other tasks. Our examinations are conducted twice every semester. We got 6 semesters in total.

Along with the placement opportunities, Lovely Professional University's placement cell also provides internships to the students. Nowadays it is really important to work on the skills and LPU provides you with platforms to enhance your skills. Summer Training is one of the initiative of the university to provide exposure and experience to the students. After the completion of the second year, every BBA student has to get into an internship in an organization and work for one whole year. After the internship, the students appear for the placement drives and secure a good post in the placement. The major role offered in this internship is of - HR Manager and Marketing Manager etc.

The placement services given by Lovely Professional University is the best among all the private universities. The students become eligible for placement drives by the end of their fifth semester. On-campus placement services are given only to registered students. In BBA, the highest package bagged is 16 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The companies which recruit from IIMs and IITs also comes to LPU for offering jobs. The number of offers is always high. This year more than 1000 offers were made to BBA students. Almost 99% of students get placement every year. I will appear for the placements and work before pursuing MBA.

There is much financial assistance provided by the university. The scholarship scheme is at the top. The framework of scholarship schemes is in such a way so that maximum student can take this advantage and lessen the load of expenses. Various schemes include- Sports, cultural, bravery, covid warrior, merit-based and social achievements. They also have a national scholarship examination to get a chance to get maximum benefit. There are opportunities also for part-time jobs inside the campus available to the students. This helps them become silently independent for their personal expenses also. I received a 25% scholarship on my sports achievement.

There are many and many events organized inside the LPU campus. During the offline days, Bollywood stars and other celebrities kept on visiting the campus. Many times, the campus was used for shooting regional songs for youtube and also in movies. The popular events of Lovely Professional University include - Youthvibe, Coke studio, Spectra, etc. Our classrooms are well updated with technologies. All the labs are well equipped. The central library of LPU is one of the largest libraries in the country. It has more than 300000+ books and ebooks. Several sports activities also go on inside the campus. LPU has their own stadiums inside the campus itself along with gym facilities.
