Lovely Professional University

I was an aspirant of the IPMAT Program held by IIMs after the 12th. As I wasn't able to get in so I came to Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. I registered myself under the sports quota as I have many achievements in Cricket. I am pursuing Bachelors of Business Administration (Honors). The eligibility criteria for getting admission in LPU is to have at least 70% marks in both the 10th and 12th board examinations. The admission process is not complicate done. The applicant should fill the application form, submit the documents and pay a mandatory amount to confirm the seats.

Lovely Professional University has never compromised its education quality. They recruit the best faculties for their students. All the teachers are well qualified with experiences in their subjects. Our university is one of a kind and I can prove it by mentioning a most extraordinary fact- All of us, LPU students and faculty members have an access to LPU Live ( A private messenger app) to get in touch with our mentors. All the study materials and projects are uploaded by the teachers in LPU Live. As LPU is a paperless campus - all these initiatives were required. Thus every student can personally get in touch with the teachers. Our examinations are conducted twice every semester and there is 2 semester every year. In total we got 6 semesters- thus BBA Hons is of three years.

In our second year, we are asked to work under an NGO for a month as part of the summer training. Thus, from the beginning, LPU wants to enhance its student's skills to make them placement ready. By the end of the second year- LPU assigns its students under corporate organizations as an intern for a duration of 1 whole year. PLU wants to install every skill in their student before making them appear for the placement drive. Thus, with all these experiences along with summer training and student's personal initiatives- the vertos can get big packages. All these projects made during the internships are showcased in front of the recruiters as part of their experiences. Major roles offered are HR Manager and Marketing Managers. The highest stipend earned is INR 89,000.

Big Corporate Giants walk in the LPU campus for recruitment. With more than 1000 offers to make, they take many talented vertos who fits best for their organizations. Those companies include- Microsoft, Infosys, Amazon, IBM, Tata, etc. The highest package bagged by the BBA Hons branch is 15LPA and the minimum is 6LPA. Last year the percentage of students getting placed went up to 99.5% After I get my degree I'll appear for on-campus placement to get some experience before pursuing my MBA, because I think that every experience count and will help me to get a good B-school for my masters.

Nobody can deny the fact that Lovely Professional University is the only university in India to provide a big range of scholarship opportunities to its students. Students who do not have any merit in their school days get a chance to answer LPUNEST- a scholarship examination. Other schemes include- 10th/12th Board marks, Sports, NCC, Special scholarships for the wards of Covid frontline warriors etc. I got a 30% fee waiver under the sports scholarship scheme. LPU campus has many part- time and entrepreneur opportunities for the students to give them personal financial assistance.

Lovely Professional University's campus with help of 100s of student running organizations is never out of activities or events. Various events are organized in sports and cultural fields- of all levels. Many workshops are also organized by the organizations inside the LPU. LPU has its own Unihospital, Unimall, hotel etc inside the campus. Big residential facilities are built to give their students a safe environment to live in. LPU is one of the safest campuses, especially for girls. We also have stadiums and Gyms for the students inside the campus. All the classrooms and labs are well equipped with the latest technologies. LPU has many libraries inside but its Central Library is one of the largest libraries in India. It got more than 30,00,000+ books and ebooks.
