The faculty at ibs is very excellent they have a case-based method that helps a lot of students They conduct seminars webinar with industry people which gives student knowledge about various aspects of how the industry works and how they have to work in their future They also provide summer internships program for 3 months which give students industry exposure and a person is able to get to know his strengths and weakness Placement offer which ibs give is also v good in competition to other b schools It offers specializations in various streams it has helped me out in grooming myself Admission was done through ibsat it was conducted on main campus in Hyderabad Because they allot mentor to every student and that is very helpful Collegedunia
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to do higher studies in finance that's why I choose this Student-faculty ratio is 1:5 Teachers here hold PhD degree in their fields some have done courses like cfa ,csa etc Exams were taken twice in semester It was time duration that was very difficult to handle in exams
Internships Opportunities
My company was Punjab national bank I had to do a comparison of pnb with its competitors On various fronts, ratios were calculated everything was studied in depth how public bank is different from a private bank Also, marketing research was done to know customers perception of pnb schemes
Placement Experience
From semester 3 we become eligible for placement Many companies like EY,Deloitte, KPMG,Amul,Nestle,black Rock gave an package of around 6.5- 8 lakh per annum The highest package is around 20 lakh The average package is around 6.5 lakh Around 96% get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is Rs 8 lakh which has to be paid in 5 installments and they also gave an option of partial payment during a pandemic.I got a scholarship for scoring good in the 1st semester and 2nd semester it was around 20000 for both the semester
Campus Life
Campus life is very good, books are very good which they provide it help me a lot during my studies Many clubs and cells Ibs have and they organize various events which help students a lot in building their confidence
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities have been good The food provided is not so good We have to register from outside college does not have any hostel Gurgaon where I would have rented a room or pg as it as a hub for companies
Interview Experience
Social media a boon or ban was the topic of my Gd There were 10 students in each gd group after that there was a personal interview in which they asked about my background and hobbies, why I am choosing ibs as my college etc
