Remarks

Best college for bsc nursing in Kerala, there is no single negative word for the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

4 years course with 6 months strict internship in Kerala, clinical knowledge and theoretical knowledge will surely help in your future, Nursing is the best paramedical course, which can give you high salary and high social status, as it is know as female dominant job but slowly this gender is not counting because world want more and more nurses

Placement Experience

Internship is at General Hospital Kochi, strict 6 month intership, as it is a paramedical course there is no need of placements

College Events

Every year onam is celebrated as it is considered as Kerala's state festival beyond religion all students take part in onam celebration,all religious festivals all celebrated as directed from kerala govt, World nurses day is celebrated and will honor every nurses in the wolrld

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees is 73 k but a student should pay more than that for accommodation, As it is under kerala govt there is many scholarship so a student can afford this fees, 73 k is the minimum fees all over Kerala for bsc nursing,there is no additional fees

There are many scholarship like book fund of rupees 2000 and many more, A student can take loan for education purpose from any recognized banks

Nursing is a female dominant field but now slowly this gender hierarchy is breaking now males are also coming into this field, usually Muslim students are few in number, when we check the numbers of nurse's Christian are more, male nurses are recruited mainly in emergency departments in hosp like ICU, OPERATION THEATER, MENTAL WARD

Admission is through LBS,for this year last date is 28 /08/2020, Admission is based on merit rank list, students passed in 12 grade with PCB can apply, when we apply for lbs we can only select the college priority when after the provisional rank list is published so select this college

Faculty

There are many permanent lectures more than 10,they all are highly qualified lectures, they are very active and make every classes more and more interesting, Every students dream will be to get teachers like them, am damn lucky to have them, they all are experienced lectures

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.
