Remarks

This is one of the best medical schools in my state and it is a municipal corporation operated. The admission process includes NEET as an entrance test, and the admission in this institute is centrally managed by DMER and state CET cell which happens through the rank one gets in NEET UG and his or her categories reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Medicine as a career has always been my passion and it's my responsibility to serve the nation at whatever level I'm capable. The faculty-student ratio varies depending on the subject and mostly it is maximum 20-25 students to one faculty. All the teaching faculties are MD in the respective fields and the tutors are MBBS graduates. Their teaching methodologies vary as some are orthodox and some prefer to be out of the box.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I personally haven't done the internship yet and yes the organizations working in our college, as well as our college, does offer great internship and first-hand experiences throughout our course and after that as well.

Placement Experience

5

Speaking of medicine there is no such need and question of placement as we generally have to complete one year's internship before we get the graduation certificate and after that as well most of the MBBS graduates choose to complete post-graduation or they start off a private practice

Fees and Financial Aid

This institute being a corporation-operated one the fees are not a ton. And it also has great scholarship opportunities like the ones provided by the medical education department of the state government like Rajarshi Chatrapati shahu Maharaj shishyavrutti yojana which reimburses the 50% of the tution fee if the candidate is eligible

Campus Life

4.5

Our annual fest is named Arunodaya the Marathi equivalent of the sunrise and it is usually conducted in March. The various libraries in our college are well equipped with the latest books and journals. All our current classrooms are fully air-conditioned and they have working projectors as well, there are fests in almost every month some small some big

The college in general is very good but the infrastructure is quite a bit small for a large number of students who are studying in the college. The campus is felt small because there are residents and the people working in hospital also lives here.
