Remarks
The college was established in 1954. At that time, it was started with the name College of Civil Engineering. This is one of the oldest college in Bihar for Civil Engineering. This is the one of the major reason I chose to attend this college. The admission was based on the ranks obtained in JEE main. I got the information about this college from college dunia.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this is one of the best institutions especially for civil engineering in Bihar. The ratio of faculty and student in here is 1:20. All the faculties are qualified. Some of them have doctorate in their subjects. Most of the teachers here have done Master in Technology. Terms exam is conducted timely. It was easy to pass after attaining the classes of our faculties as the concepts are very cleared.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester student become eligible for placements. Placement in the college is average. Student from information technology department get easy placements. Many companies visits college. Alstom Pvt.Ltd visit college especially for the students from electrical and mechanical engineering department. Prism and Johnson visits and place the student from civil engineering department. Average package in the college is 2 lac per annum. 40% of student get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee of the college is 2500. The fee of the college is very less and the education facility is comparatively good. Cost of study is very good. No scholarship is being provided by college. We have student credit cards for financial assistance. Well, I am student of 2nd year. I have not received any job with stipend yet.
Campus Life
Life at campus is awesome. College has green campus. TechMiti was the tech fest organized by the college in Feb. 2020. All the books of student necessities as well as faculties are available in the library. It is quite big. Most of the classes are smart class. Junoon is the cultural club of MIT Muzaffarpur. And Moxie is the technical club of MIT Muzaffarpur.
