CMAT is one of the alternate exams to get into the good b-schools of India, FMS-B is one of the institutes in which one can get admission through the CMAT score. Course Curriculum Overview
The course remains the same for all the first-year students (2 semesters per year). This is to equip students with basic and fundamental knowledge of each and every subject before entering into the second year in which they have to choose thier subjects regarding their interests, quality of faculty, feedback from the seniors and considering subject's relevance into today's world. The regular lectures are driven by a case study-based approach. There are marks for mid-term examination, internal evaluation (participation durin regular lectures, quizzes, attendence, etc), and end-semester examination.
Internships Opportunities
Few of the students ( approx. 20-30% of the class ) get paid internship offers. those who are left out from the paid internship have to manage thier summer internships from different platforms or offline modes on their own.
Placement Experience
The college ensures that everyone gets placed. the quality of placements decreasing with time, good placement across all the domains. The average CTC revolves around 4-5 LPA, the highest around 7-8 LPA. The majority of the batch remains in the range of 4-8 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
40,000 for SFI students and 20,000 for GIA students ( tution fees ) other than that there are always some of the costs are there too. There are always good opportunities for paid summer internship program too.
Campus Life
FMS-B has a MANAGEMENT STUDENTS FORUM under which there are many committees to get into. there are committees that have a huge responsibility on them like placement committee, media and design committee, cultural committee and there are domain wise clubs like markup ( for marketing ), fiscalspark ( for finance ).joining one of them is always a chance to getting good experience with exposure too. the flagship event YUVANTAS which is held every year around January. it contains inter-college competitions, fests, seminars, and many more.
