Remarks
I choose this university because it's a huge University all over Gujarat, the basic reason was it was near to my home, the fees structure is low for govt. Seats. It's a very good University as mostly the teaching staff are experienced and mostly they are qualified from IIT's, NIT etc. The teaching is awesome. Professor encourages students to participate in various activities and help them to achieve a great level.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have done a BSc from this university only. Now I am doing MSc from this university. It is one of the best University for all courses. The student's ratio is more than 6500 per faculty. The facilities are well qualified and educated and the teaching methods are simple yet interesting and interactive. Term exams are scheduled as per university guidelines it's moderately difficult to pass the exam yet competitive.
Placement Experience
University organises campus placement for students to get job easily. Many top companies/ organisations come and hire students from this university. Students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th sem onwards. Some companies name that visited for campus placement is Alembic pharmaceutical, L&T, TCS, AXIS BANK, etc. The percentage of students getting placements are more than 91%. My plans after getting a degree are to get a job from my faculty only in the industrial sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very low compared to other universities in Gujarat. It's cheap yet, the best University of all. A poor family can afford and the university helps the economically weak students to get a chance for a scholarship. Job fairs are organised by the university to help students to get a job. India's topmost companies also hire from this university.
Campus Life
The university campus is so huge. University conducts youth fests every at the beginning of the new year. And in between many fests have been organised by the departments themselves to encourage students and help to find their dreams and chase them. The universities library is one of the biggest libraries in Gujarat. You will find every book related to all courses. Classrooms are well equipped with speakers, blackboards, tables etc. Laboratories are also very neat and clean and tidy. For sports and any extracurricular activities, the university has a very big sports Pavillion of its own. It includes a gym, swimming pool, various courts for tennis, volleyball, basketball, hockey, football, Cricket etc. The authorities of the university maintain a social media page on every platform like Instagram, Facebook etc.
