Amazing experience and feel very proud to study at IIT Hyderabad.

IIT HYDERABAD is reaching one of the top 5 IITS in India in a very less span and duration compared to older IITS. IT'S facilities, courses, faculties, student life and every aspect has been excellent and IMProving every year.

I took IIT JEE exam in 2008 and I secured AIR 53 RANK. I chose C.S.EMAIL because I had a passion from my childhood in exploring technological gadgets, applications and softwaresee. IIT Hyderabad gave me a proper foundation in understanding the basics of Technology and science which helped me mould my career into a better way. Admission process was purely based on rankings and we had a option to give our choice of IIT with its course in order wise.

Course structure was very good where a student shall be getting overall exposure to outside world and technologies. Every course had an insight and understanding which depicts the real world examples. All Courses had same subjects during first year and in second year all the courses were deviated into their own specialisations and subjects.

Yes our college provides internships to students of other colleges and also in the same college. They used to provide us a minimum stipend at thathe time of about 5000 rupees per month.

Placements and job opportunities are world class and many top most technology giants, IT, Services, industrial and banking companies visited for placements. Google USA was highest offerror of about 50 lpa. Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal eBay, flipkart Morgan Stanley, bank of America, IBM, Oracle and many other top companies visited our colleges for avg of 10lpa.

There were many events all through my 4 years of beech life. Events includes cultural, technical and other industrial tours. Technical events were given prominent importance like Technovision which is a technical festival. Elan is another event which is a three day cultural festival whicham had end to end cultural events like dance, music shows, rock bands etc.

Fee structure is feasible as they were central government funded institutions and they were helpful low income students whose parental income was less than 1 lakh per annum. Such students had scholarship. Fee structure was reasonable at that time around 40 k per semester.

Merit CUM means scholarship was the best scholarship provided to all the students. It was based on the academic perfomanice in every semester.

Campus life was very good and peaceful. Gender ratio for boys and girls was 7:1 nearly. Extracurricular activities and sports were given high importance to all students. There were strict rules on students security and living inside the campus. There were transport facilities even for students.

Hostel facilities were world class and every student would love to get such world class facilities. Buildings are seven storeyed hostels. All kinds of sports grounds and we'll furnished. A multipurpose gym was well built. Music and recreation rooms were well built. Huge stages and open stands are ultimate open places.

Ya there is a active alumni network activity going on with IIT HYDERABAD alumni night association. We also have a website running the same. Alumping events are also happening half-yearly in a year. Till now nearly 6 to 7 alumni events have taken place.

Exam structure had two quizes and end semester exams in one semester. In a year they were two semesters. For four years they were 8 semesters. All the exams also had lab exams as part of end semester exams. Lab activities included, programming, coding, machine learning, Digital signal processing, operating systems, embedded systems, micro processors etc.

Faculty have been excellent in moulding the students in various streams of specialisations. They have been debuted from old IITS so that being a new IIT we were not missing that experience and expertise form the professors and faculty. They have been realy good job teaching with their experience.
