Devendra Yadav's Review On ABES Institute Of Technology - [ABESIT], Ghaziabad

The college management is a lot better here, recently our college was awarded with Rank 1 in swachhata ranking by "MHRD, Govt. Of India" in North India. The management staff is always doing their job on time and you won't face any issues with them regarding anything. But sometimes due to some unavoidable situations, things can get delayed but that's acceptable. I'm pretty happy with my college, academics, opportunities.

I can proudly say that my college is always thinking ahead of the time and that's why the courses offered here are up to date with the latest trends in the society and job sectors. At first you would judge this college for it being on such a small scale, but it's not small at all in making individuals better professionals. My college is "NBA" accredited and that means it's a no joke. Various companies visit here for the recruitment drive, we have many industrial visits for every branch that College organises completely. So placement offers, industrial visits and latest academic trends are the things you don't need to worry about.

The placement is quite impressive here. The top recruiters here are Amazon, Capgemini, Nagarro, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Samsung, HCL and many more. The Batch of 2020 saw 213 Students getting placed till 2019.

Recently ABESIT hosted ORACLE, a zoom webinar on the impact of Covid-19 on employment and steps for students to prepare for it. Before Covid-19, many workshops have been organised such as, LinkedIn workshop from Ms. Vineela at LinkedIn within college itself. Workshop on "Introduction to DevOp", one of our teams won the First prize in Techathlon 2020, Workshop on "Designing Facial Filter using Python", industrial visit to "Hero motors Ltd". Our college won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals in Dr. Abdul Kalam art and cultural fest 2019-20.

Talking about the Fee, its not Expensive at all. For CS, its 1, 06, 500 now. Various modes of payment includes, Bank Draft, online mode via college website itself, Challan, Paytm, RTGS. The course, the placement, the opportunities that we're getting from this college is satisfactory and I guess, the fee is set accordingly to it. There's no need to think twice about it. Our college even waived off some portion of the fee(Logistic charges) due to "Covid-19" despite being a private institute. What more can we ask for.

I didn't opted for any scholarships or education loan, but our college provides the both. Just fill the form and after approval the loan will be granted easily as the college has PNB affiliate to it. So it's hassle free. Many students gets scholarship on the basis of their merit in academics.

The campus life is pretty awesome here as the college is completely "ragging free". Many students come here from various parts of the India( north-india mainly). Some are rich and some are poor, but you won't find any discrimination here on economic status. The skin color is very diverse here and there's no racism at all. You can find hindu, muslims living together in peace here and within the hostel, it's like a family here. It is strictly prohibited here and punishable. We have technical and cultural clubs for each branch and there are total 8 of them. During the fest, many events were organised such as Robo-War in which we fight our robots to win, many computer games such as Cs-Go, NFS, even PUBG is organised and that's really fun.

Recently Alumni meet was organised and it was fun to know our super seniors. We are connected to them via LinkedIn as well. They help and suggest us in a lot of ways and that's how a connection between junior and senior should be. They're willing to help us at all times.

I got the admission via counselling after taking the UPTU examination. I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in Computer science branch as this was my dream since a childhood. In order to get the admission, you have mainly two options, Take the UPTU examination and get here fro counselling or you give the entrance exam cum interview, that college takes on the basis of your 12th results.

The faculty is well trained, sufficient enough for the college and very helpful here. You can find them always helping students no matter the time of the day. They even ask us to consult over any issue during after college hours. The faculty includes various professors with higher degrees and past experiences.
