Ishan Dwivedi's Review On IIHMR University, Jaipur

I wanted to pursue MBA in rural management for which IIHMR is a certified University. The admission process started in 2020 May. I attended the IIHMR entrance exam for the same. After filling the application form and giving the respective exam, I attended the GD/PI session held online. I was asked to speak for about 5 min on the given topics. They announced the final result in August and started the new academic session in September 2020. The reason I preferred this college over the other colleges is that they have well-qualified teachers and the subjects they tech are totally relevant to the course. Also, the placement here is quite good. The average placement here is 7.8 LPA. I used the IIHMR official website and also Quora and collegedunia site for the other information.

The only reason I choose this course is because of the placement and the faculty available here. Also, the campus is really very beautiful which attracted me towards attending this college. The faculty to student ratio is good. It is approximately 3 students per teacher i.e. 1:3. All students are given equal opportunities in IIHMR. All the teachers present here are highly qualified. Most of the teachers have done their PHDs from certified universities and are very well educated. All of them are having 4-5 yrs of experience in teaching service. The term exams are held every 5th month. Midterms, quizzes, competitions are held approximately every year. Yes, the term exam is quite hard to pass. As in online mode, the exams were takes by switching on the camera and in a proacted way.

From the 3rd sem, the students start applying for the placement procedure. we can also apply for internships from the 2nd semester. There are many agro companies and pharma companies that visit from time to time includes Dabur, Patanjali, etc. the highest package offered to a student was 12 LPA in the year of 2019 batch in Patanjali. the students placed for the highest package was approximately 2-3. Others were mostly placed for the 6.5 LPA package. students were approximately 12-13 for the average package. the placement provided by the company is 100%. all the students from the past 2 years were placed. I am thinking of getting placed in a highly reputed company with a good salary. After that, I am thinking to start my own business and hire people under me.

The fees are fixed for approximately the last 3 yrs. The total fees of the whole MBA program are 960000 including hostel charges, tuition fees, etc. Exam fees, library charges, electricity bills are also included in these fees. The campus provides us several competitions through which we could pass and achieve the scholarships. IIHMR also gives concession fees to pay later in the coming days without submitting the fees altogether. also, our campus provides us many jobs such as online workshops and event managers, documentation work, campus representative work, etc. they also provide a stipend for this kind of work.

Since I have joined the IIHMR university the 2020 batch is conducted through an online mode of study. So talking about the events and fests everything is conducted in online mode. the college arranges different fest and calls reputed people for the webinars and other things. the library is full of books and has some other fictional books also. The college library also has cyber library and they also contain previous year's questions papers also. The classroom also has digital classrooms and also has a special room for the presentations also. The sports day is held every year in which programs are held like cricket, badminton, kho-kho, etc. Also, some painting competition, poster making competitions, photography competitions, etc.

THROUGH IIHMR entrance test

Yes, after giving the exams and clearing the final results, IIHMR conducts a GD/PI session also. The topic given to us in the GD session was the recent issues. I was asked to say 5 min on the topic "demonetization". Later on, in the PI sessions, I was asked to say few words about myself. They asked me few questions about my strength, weakness, hobbies, etc. There are many ways through which we can take admission in IIHMR. we can also apply through CAT/CMAT/MAT scores. Also, IIHMR takes admissions through their personality test. I prepared through youtube videos, and also I took personal GD/PI test through different sites.
