Remarks
The college is only about 3 km's from my house so it is easily accessible for me to reach there. It is only commerce which is an added advantage. The attendance is strict which is the unique selling point of the college. Unlike another college, the faculties are highly educated and professional and give their best in the classrooms and are not casual about their approach. The admission is as prescribed by the University of the State Board. It is one of the best colleges of Commerce in the city.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a CA student, I wanted to dedicate much more time to my course so I choose this course. A classroom consists of around 120 students. The faculty is well educated and unlike other colleges, they are utter professionals towards students and are not casual they are strict towards their study. The teaching methods are both old school and modern use of projectors and other equipment are done for teaching. The exams are times according to the University.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester i.e in the last year of the college placements were starting to come. I don't remember the companies but I remember there were quite a few banks coming for placements. The highest was around 3 lakh per annum and the average package was around 2 lakh per annum. Around 10% or less actually got placed. I enrolled myself in some other course in a different college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course being the head of the University the fees are pretty decent and it differs for OBC, SC & ST. There is a sports quota for sports which includes Boxing, Judo, Riffle shooting and Athletics. There are campus placements but they are very limited for this course there were hardly very few companies coming to the college and hardly very few students going for the campus placements.
Campus Life
Talenzzia is the inter-college fest which in the month of December mostly in the latter in the month. It is a one-day fest which includes a lot of fun activities and games and competition. Jashn is the Intra fest college which also happens in the month of December. The stock of books and journals, newspaper and magazines are quite good. Every classroom has projectors, AC and good sitting arrangements for faculty and the student. The college is famous for sports like Boxing, Judo, Riffle and athletics and their many students representing the college in national and international level. There is a Rotaract club in college which performs various social activities in the college.
Interview Experience
The admission process of the college is based on the merit sports quota and Sindhi Quota. There are no malpractices of admission on donations. There weren't any process like GD, interview questions or test pattern for admission.
