MY JOURNEY IN LPU

While selecting college the prime consideration which I personally did was LPU's placement reviews, its co-curricular activities, its infrastructure. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has himself visited LPU once to guide the students over there. While selecting I did refer to its own website www.lpu.in . The website is so convenient to roll on. It provides you with each and every basic information about the university that might be helpful for every aspirant. Overall experience in LPU is just awesome. Its academics are very up to the mark with 24/7 support from highly educated and qualified mentors.

I have chosen BBA ( INTERNATIONAL FINANCE ). The course is of 3 years. The management studies in LPU is quite satisfactory. Mentors are very supportive throughout your journey as a student. Faculties of business management are very highly qualified with a handsome industry experience as well so that they can elaborate on the things practically to the students. Teaching quality is very appropriate as they use new technology to teach like PPT's on projectors, Videos related to the topics, and much more. There are 2 exams in a year i.e. mid-term examination and end-term examination. Throughout the year there are several assessment tests also to check the ability of the students whether they are getting things in the right way or not. The difficulty level of MCQs in the paper is much high as compared to the subjective pattern of LPU. But, the mentors will always guide the students in all areas, so there is less chance of getting a panic situation in the examinations.

Currently, I am a 2nd year BBA student, so I have just started having some of the internships at LPU. There are many good companies with which LPU is connected to offer prestigious training and development to its students.

Placements in LPU is just quite impressive. From Google, Microsoft, Amazon to many other reputed companies are constantly coming for placements offering to students. From the 2nd year onwards a student becomes eligible for placement services.

The fee structure of BBA ( INTERNATIONAL FINANCE ) is Rs. 1,40,000 per year in LPU. There are several scholarship schemes as well for the students. LPU conducts an entrance test as well for aspirants named LPUNEST. Under this test, students can appear in the test and if their scores found satisfactory they are given scholarships upto 50%.

Life at the LPU campus is just fabulous. It's a typical example of how college life should be. It's full of activities and happiness throughout the campus. All the students are free to explore the campus. There are more than 100 clubs and student organizations to join. These clubs help the students to witness the overall development of a student. LPU caters to the talent of each and every individual. For every talent, there is a club in LPU. There are various mega events conducted there on the LPU campus which are massive in themselves. Thousands of students participate in those events and witness participation from all around the country as well. LPU also has a very strong hold in sports too. There are places for every sport u want. Even shooting, swimming pool, and much more. The overall life at LPU is just awesome.

LPU has a vast space for hostel facilities. It has a capacity of around more than 25000 students. There are various categories in hostel rooms. One can opt for 1 seater, 2 seaters, 3 seaters, 4 seaters, 5 seaters,6,7,8, and according to their needs. Mess and laundry facilities are also available for the students. Mess food is not that much up to the mark. But it also offers canteens in every hostel itself which is quite good and affordable. Every year there is an allotment process of hostels so that students can opt for the services as per their need.
