Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are not just teachers - they are my mentors. Very well qualified - all of them have been giving their 100% to make sure we excel in our respective fields.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 1800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I got this opportunity in the first year itself and I am very lucky to have worked with him. It was a great learning opportunity especially because I was in my first year only and could not have imagined such a great learning avenue would be provided to me.

Placement Experience

I am yet to sit for placements but I have completed one internship through college. It was with a well known Fashion Designer and I am so happy because I got to learn so much about how the real world of design works. Especially happy because I got this opportunity in my first year itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not qualify for a scholarship but I have friends who did and I feel so proud of them. It also helped her study despite her weak financial background and she could pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer, thanks to our teachers!

Campus Life

I have been blessed with great faculty members, students, friends, and admin staff. No matter what day, no matter whether we are studying online or offline - there is always something fun happening in IIAD. Our annual REMIX festival is so much fun - I can't wait for it. A lot of students also perform a dance, poetry, and other talent skills, and they're all always encouraged to pursue it.

Interview Experience

The interview process was pretty smooth. We went through an iDAT exam and a studio simulation test. Both tests judged our ability to think creatively, think smartly, and think intelligently. It was a test that made me realize my own strengths and shortcomings.

The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Amazing Experience

The reason why I chose IIAD was because of its Fashion Business Management course curriculum and its international recognition. Students enrolled at IIAD receives a Kingston University degree. The course curriculum for Fashion Business management is really holistic in nature and by the end of the degree, the student becomes industry-ready. The college has a non-conventional method of teaching and most of the learning is practically based. Also, each student gets required attention because of its student-teacher ratio, which is 15:1. Overall, till now IIAD has provided me with almost everything that I expected and I am learning a lot, both professionally as personally....Read More

I miss my college life at IIAD!

I am very happy to have chosen IIAD. My reasons to select it over the other private colleges: 1. They offer two degrees -I have graduated with an international degree from KU and another from Lingaya which is a UGC approved degree. At the time of joining, I wasn't sure what I would pursue after college so this degree made me feel secure about my future plans. Other private colleges didn't have this. 2. The teachers - I met some of them during the admission process and they were so helpful. 3. I loved the fact that the campus was very close to my house so I wasn't going to spend a lot of time commuting....Read More
