GATE (IIT, ROORKEE) and i scored 364. This the best institute thats why i took admission. I am doing research and this platform is appropriate for technology transfer.
Course Curriculum Overview
Particularly i am taking in interest in research. Our research group is finding the lead for new chemical entity. May be in the future, we will hve success. We are focused on Alzheimer' Disease. The research has been done by me hs shown in the the different national and international conferences.
Internships Opportunities
They are providing the fellowship for doing research. The internship is not being done. The general stipend is in the range of 25,000 to 40,000 per month.
Placement Experience
Almost 100 % placements are there. Both in and off campus placements are done. Pharmaceutical companies e.g. Ranbaxy, Fresenius Kabi, Baxter, Pananea Biotech and Sun Pharma etc. have come. The package provided by the company is 5 to 10 lac p.a. Few students have gone abroad for the various carrier opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is not offered by the university instead it is offered by the various funding agencies. I am availing UGC-RFSMS fellowship form University Grant Commission, New Delhi.
Campus Life
The girl ratio is more than boys. So many parties like disc etc. are being conducted by the students. Full enjoyment with enthusiasm are there. The campus life is awesome. The extra curriculum activities are conducted to increase morale of students, Students pooling is done to choose the president and all party members.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is helpful. Alma connect network is made to connect with seniors. The alumni come in department to interact with current guys to tell them demands and needs of the opportunities. My personal experience is good.
Admission
On the basis of score of qualifying examination, the physical interview would be conducted. The selection committee depending upon the marks obtained by students and research profile decided collectively the candidates. I am having the research fellowship of meritorious students.
