Remarks

Provides a beneficial exposure to boost confidence from an early level. The various events help us attain skills which aren't provided by academics. The all-round development of an individual can be seen in this institution.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for the state MH-CET entrance exam. I scored 142/200. Vesit had always been a dream college for me. The campus, ambiance, trend of vesit had been a whole new experience. I took up IT as developing always evoked my instinct.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course as per Mumbai university, is a good process to make us well equipped with all the skills required for being a good engineer. The official MU site keeps us updated with the curriculum. Moreover the college staff, faculty and teaches are always there to guide us through the course.

Placement Experience

4

Job placement are good enough. Companies like TCS,Infosys, Techzilla, Accenture, L&T have come for placements to our college.

College Events

4.5

Being a FE, I don't know much about college events. It's been just 2 months. Though we had cultural events called 'prarambh', 'udaan'. Music events like 'bliss' and 'octaves'. A cultural tech fest called 'praxis'.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is offered to people having linguistic minority. It is also provided to people who fall under reserved category. Open category study are not eligible to attain scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has a spread out campus. Ambiance is pretty good as well. Having a linguistic minority makes 51% of the crowd made of sindhis. However no one is baised in any respect. Cultural and ethical value are rendered and respected. Cultural activities help us showcase our art. Workshops are conducted on robotics, literature, technology, internships. Orientation programs are helpful. Inter and intra college events make us confident enough to face the world.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I'm not a hostelite, but I have friends who stay there. The accommodation facilities are excellent. Security is not an issue. Mess food can never match to homemade food but still its not that bad! Hostel room for boys is available for first 2 years. They have to stay as PG for rest 2 years. However for girls rooms are available for 4 years.

Alumni/Alumna

Vibrant Singh a ex-student of our college is now working in Facebook he also conducted internship workshop for students of other colleges now.

Exam Structure

Assignment, practical, journals are the new nightmares they leave us exhausted. However this has now become a integral part of life and I'm kinda enjoying a bit of it. 8 semesters bring along 8 exams. Each semester comprises of 2 internal tests and a final exam.

Admission

The admissions were given by CAP rounds as per the government rules. There were 4 rounds. A form containing list of your preferred colleges was to be submitted. On the basis of merit and college cutoffs, we were alloted our deserving colleges. I got vesit alloted in the second round.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty passes out with distinction on my report(though you always have exceptions). They are all experienced and have deep knowledge of the subject which sometimes gives us a out of the box experience. They are good mentors and always ready to help. The official email address of vesit assigned to each one of us makes the faculty easily accessible.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is half electronic and Computer science based . It is really useful for students opting for Robotics, Internet Of things , Vlsi , etc. But if you want to opt for fully computer science based stream or career, dont choose this stream as there is shortlisting issue during placement here for this stream

The placements here are good. But if more diverse number of companies are coming , then it would be more beneficial for students. Te average package you can expect is 4lpa . The most number of students getting placed companies are seclore and sogolytics.
