My college review.

My college life was enjoyable i use to spend happy moments in my college time and spent happy moments with my friends, professors and college management i always remember my college life, pleasant moments, forgot unwanted events,

I did not attend any entrance examination. I got admission directly through application and spot admission in the college.

There is no research subject in my B.SC.Chemistry course. The Chemistry course was good and every year the designed subjects were taught by my College Chemistry Department Professors. Course curriculam was good and environment friendly. The college curriculam was environment friendly and all students felt happy during the course.

Internship was not provided by the college during my B.SC.chemistry study in this college for 3 years. I attended the college daily i went to college from my house every day morning and after college time completed in evening I returned to my house.

During my college time, there was no placement at college campus. We were not knowing about the campus interview and placement during those days. Around 40 - 50 students were admitted in my college in each class. Campus interview procedure started in year 2000 in my college. This was informed to me by one of my friend who studied with me.

National service scheme (NSS) I was a member. My selected members attended NSS and NCC (National cadet corps) was another event happended in my college. we used to attend the annual camps in nearby /selected villages and my college professors use to attend the camps. We use to build bridge, road to selected villages. We use to teach the village children for a period of 10 - 15 days during our stay there.

General fee structure is feasible. I was charged a nominal fee in first year, second year and the 3rd year the fee include library fee, general tution fee, building fee, lab fee, exam fee, special fee, etc. The fee structure was pre decided by college management and was changed from time to time.

During my the 3 years of college life , I got stipend around Rs.300 every year as I studied B.SC.Chemistry in Tamil medium. every year i got this stipend which was very useful to me in those days.

Gender Ratio - we were only male students in this government college. There was no girl students admitted in this college as this college is specially meant for male students. There were annual functions in my college presided by my principal. There was no special mention about religion, ethnicity race, sexual orientation, politics and economical status.

Hostel was in my college and mess food was provided in my college. but the hostel was not properly maintained at times by students and mess food was just ok. According to me the Government college hostel and mess for students can be maintained in better way so that students get most benefit out of these facilities. As I see more number of students from village come to college and stay in hostel and have food in mess. so improving hostel, mess in college will surely help students.

Even though we use to meet old friends some time early, nowadays we are not able to meet because most of my friends are working in different parts of this country and world. some of my friends working in abroad and so unable to contact them.

Exams structure was predetermined and was conducted as per time table in every year during my college study. Labs were not much sophisticated as this was a government college and lab. We did the lab tests as per the instruction of our college lecturers.

I filled application form in the college for B.SC.Chemistry course. I got admission and was asked to pay the fee for the course. After paying fees, I got admission confirmed and got admitted in the college. The Principal conducted interview for my admission and he asked me several questions. I attended all the questions and answered patiently. Finally he got satisfied and gave me admission in this college.

The faculty in my B.SC.Chemistry course was good. The faculty gave a very good teaching during my three years of course. All the attending faculty were good and taught the course in patient and impressive manner. All the syllabus was taught in a simple manner and easily understanding pattern.
