Good teaching experience.

K-CET, I heard good reviews from people so I joined this college and also people said that the teaching faculty is too good and student-friendly so I thought of joining this college.

Computer science and engineering was my favorite course as it makes me learn the computer-related subjects and make me join the multinational company and earn good and lead life well and get settled in life. Computer science engineering makes me learn many programs and helps developing knowledge.

There has been immense growth and excellent results from this college over recent years. It has been an autonomous college which was following relative grading but now changed back to absolute grading easing the pressure on the students. The schedule here is very hectic and the pressure on the students is very high. The faculty, discipline, students are all the best but the student life filled with happiness cant be continued here. Strict, competition and no support for the extracurricular activities are the main drawbacks. There has been competition between this and RVCE for the first spot but this settles for the second on the student reviews. Placements are phenomenal here, everything is good, just the pressure on students makes it the second choice. Atmatrisha is the annual fest and will be a lot of science fest, the best place for academic students.

It is a very good experience here. The campus life is good and the hostel facilities are also good. However, the faculty members were not much better and the labs are also average. But, the extra-curricular activities are good here and we have sports, counseling sessions, etc. The college ground is also good. It is a pollution-free campus and we have a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. We also have an indoor sports complex which was new this year and many events like startups and all will be organized on the campus.

A lot of festivals happen here but ‘8th Mile’ is the biggest among all of them. Although it’s not on an as large scale as some of the more popular festivals in the city arranged by colleges which are in the league of RVCE, it’s not bad either. It’s an annual inter-college techno-cultural fest held in March. Placements: it’s the best part of this college. More than 100% placement for all branches is guaranteed. More IT companies than the core ones visit the campus, so CS, IS and ECE branches gets more salaries which are 4.5 – 5 lakh on an average. IBM, Wipro & Accenture are the major recruiters for these branches. Big MNCs like Microsoft & Texas Instruments also took a few students offering an amazing package of 10 to 12 Lakhs. Mechanical, Civil, IM, and other branches get average 3.5 lakh package and their major recruiters are Bosch & L&T.

Like most other colleges in the city, the fee structure is different for students who got a seat through CET or COMED-K. For Karnataka CET students the fees are around Rs. 36,090 per year. For COMED-K students the fees are around Rs. 1.25 lakh per year. Infrastructure: The college is part of the gargantuan Dayanand Sagar Institutions (DSI) campus which spreads over acres of land and is home to several other sister institutes. As you enter the campus on your bike, you are directed to the parking lot which is humungous with hundreds of bikes parked every day (Parking is charged at Rs. 5/- every day and doesn’t go down well with everyone). Infrastructure, on the whole, is terrific; buildings, libraries, classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, e-books, everything. Only one thing that bothers sometimes is roaming around the campus; it’s full of slopes and descents, so while going down would be fun, coming up is equally tiring.

No there is no such loan facility offered by college you have to make sure before with your home bank branch for a loan facility. Yes, bank will approve the loan amount as college is recognized by AICTE. You can also avail the hostel fee in loan.

Hostel facility is good. you will get 2 sharing or single room depending upon your requirement. The hostel is having its own playground for basketball, volleyball and badminton court. The hostel has its own Gym and Common TV room facility and water cooler on each floor Coming to mess, you will get both south Indian and north Indian food to taste. One day in a week you will get Non-veg food also. This college is having a good network of alumni and senior students and I can proudly say that I am one of them. Principal arranges a time to time alumni meets which help students in every manner in regards to college projects or campus selection.

The ACS College of Engineering campus is huge and is also very beautiful. There is a separate block for each department. The academic infrastructure is top class. Labs are of course well-equipped and also have equipment which is not usually found in any other colleges of the city. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, which however isn’t very reliable. The library is pretty big and has a lot of books. But it needs to enhance its collection as some of the books are not found in sufficient numbers. Also, the college needs to provide better facilities for sports. There are a couple of playgrounds, unlike many other engineering colleges in Bangalore, where there are absolutely no grounds or open space but and they are not in a very good condition and students, in general, aren’t too happy with this factor.

Previously I studied in Alvas PU college moodabidri so after coming back to Bangalore I was not at all knowing the details of any college later by asking my nearby friends I heard good reviews from this college so I added in my K-CET list and got locked in the college.

The college is superb. It has all the instruments required for modern biotechnology courses. The college has a great faculty. It has a library, which is equipped with the latest books of diverse nature, In life sciences department, there are multiple courses like microbiology, biotechnology. The college has unique courses like integrated M.Tech in computer science engineering, which is a 4-year-long course.
