Course Curriculum Overview

There we have total 6 semester each semester they will have 3 cat in that last cat is considered as model exam and each exam will provide contribution to internal exam and external exam which converts into total 100 marks syllabus is more about ship and operations and basic rules and regulations.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Placement Experience

Yes they provide placement based on our performance . there will be shortlist of cadets after conducting several.exams and mock test.after that the company which would like to take cadets send their requirements and the college will provide training for cadets also the company for bsc nautical science are . MAERSK , GOODWOOD,SEATEAM, CHEVRON,etc.

The college is providing hostel as a DG students we are only allowed to done our education by hostel itself its a residential course .There are seprate hostel for boys and girls also in Dg they are separated in to many courses so according to that hostel is provided.

There will be announced by their online site and Register our name for online exam once exam completed they will announce result and ask to attend online interview and after finishing interview they will publish result and from there they will ask to bring document regarding health and medical report once all done they will announce re-open date.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

First off all, i didn't apply to any other colleges, then for addmission, they took very long to intimate the dates, again and again I was calling one of the faculty and was asking for dates. Management is responsible for providing information.to the students. While admission, first they asked to pay an advance amount of rs. 25000/- from the course fees i.e rs. 300000/- to confirm my seat. Then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs. 40000/- which was not available then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs 50000/- to confirm the hostel.
