Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties has put forward a great efforts in making our syllabus more comfortable to us as well as they also make us more active towards the portions to be covered as per our semester. The faculties are really supportive in our each and every activities in study as well as the seminars and other sessions held as per our syllabus made our studies more easier

I have never visited any company or submitted any profile to any of the company yet and haven't heard about any placement cell or any such placement in our college and also the has I gave not yet completed my graduation I haven't yet submitted any of my profile with any company

College Events

The arts week and each events conducted in the college give us a very extraordinary experience and also a great United effort from the part of college management and union made our college life really an awesome experince. The support from college management and also the union encourage us and drag our complete participation in each programmes conducted by them

Campus Life

The campus is well developed with almost all necessary things and also the seminars hall, library, Wi-Fi, laboratorial accesserioes are also very well handled and developed to support our studies and research

my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the placement from the 8th semester. Companies such as tcs, Accenture, and wipro offer 100+ jobs. The highest package offered was 800000 LPA for a software engineer. Approximately 90 percent of the students secured placements.

Remarks:

Good space and ecosystem. Although the faculty keeps changing which disturbs our process of learning. This college is also situated at heart of Thrissur, it's only like 8 km from Thrissur town. The college campus is around 42 hectares.

Remarks:

Its located in a hill station so i am able to study along with enjoying nature. The college itself is very well designed in terms of architecture. On 1st look it attracts people with its beautiful natural qualities. Also in terms of academics the college has very good dedicated staff members. In terms of extra carricular activities the college has a gym, basketball and volleyball courts. Overall it is a very good college. I opted for B.Com because i was a commerce student in 11th and 12th and i required continuation.

Cochin college campus life

Cochin college was quite good because of its well-experienced faculties in the department of botany .you can get clear theoretical knowledge from your professors but the laboratory facilities are too old there are not many things to explore in the laboratory and campus also. You must use the library facilities of the college. This is an mg university-affiliated college. Admission is through a centralized allotment process conducted by the mg university If you have a very good score in your plus two exams then you must choose a college with a high naac accreditation grade or appear in integrated pg entrance exams of the various central university that will definitely enlight your career. If you score only 70-80 percentage in your plus two exams then this college is good for this range of marks and if you want to experience real campus life then study hard in your graduation and take admission in any of the prestigious institutes in India for your pg program.
