Remarks

I chose Sharda college based on the quality of the school, the ability for graduate students to be part of research teams, the friendly environment and culture, and the financial package. The ability to create a program by combining disciplines was also important because my field was just emerging at that time. This was an excellent choice.

The college faculties were amazing, always kept me motivated by their speech and actions Academics and curriculum were at its best. We were not allowed to skip lectures they had very strict regulations

At that time placements were low in small town colleges however students traveled to big cities for job opportunities

College Events

Campus life was amazing. The best thing about it is you can find everything inside the campus. Be it good food, Xerox shop, Post office, hospital, park and even beauty parlour Food is the best thing.You get all the variety of food. Chinese, North Indian and South Indian food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly choose the course because I heard the college was top in Mangalore and it provide best teaching. Although some were correct and some not. The curriculum the college prepared is nice, but majority were outdated topics and idk it will help the students to get jobs in modern world with modern technologies.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good .Companies such as l&t, infosys , TCS, IBM, code young etc have visited and selected with a high packages. The stydents from 4th sem are applucable for the placements , There are more than 15 companies that visited for the placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel really blessed to treat patients and save someone's life. This made me take this field. College makes us be thorough in both theory and practical field. We have sessionals for evey 3 months and we have to take 50 percent in annual exam to clear every year. Community medicine posting helps us to interoggate with patients or any family.

Placement in nitk is one of the best , here about 95% of people are getting placed , as a mining engineer also previous year in 2023 about 97% of mining people get placed, many of the people go for non cores like SDE, analytics... etc .. previous year one people from mining cracked 1 cr package from off-campus and off campus also 22 lpa is the highest placement from mining, mainly companies that allow mining people are jio,axis bank,axiphyl,accenture,spinklr India, HSBC...etc MY plans for placements are like i am interested in coding things so i will go in some software companies and i know NITK is gone a Support me for this.
