Remarks
Lack of coordination among staff. The recruitment of qualified and senior faculties from outside India is a must. Facilities are good and growing day by day but qualities and helpful facilities need to be focused like 24hrs canteen, hostelling, etc.
Entrance Preview
Usually, most the departments have their own evaluation system which carries min %, entrance exam and personal interviews.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabuses are well designed but lack timely up gradation. Many of them are too lengthy and lacks expertise. The availability of guest lectures is very poor. Many times several referrals given by experts are not available in the library.
Internships Opportunities
Stipend in case of doctoral is usually funding agency sponsored ranging from 3600-50000INR apart only a few in masters are given stipend i.e. 5000 during tenure.
Placement Experience
Some depts in science have good placements and job opportunities after finishing masters. Especially Chemistry, bioscience dept.
College Events
Being a state university and surrounded by old traditions university is organizing youth festivals for more than 40yrs. I guess that only talks more in this regard.
Campus Life
Hostelling is good but lacking a dining facility. Excess amount of politics is a major point dragging teaching and research quality. Water faculty us good. Usual cases of health care because of dust pollution which makes it a limiting place.
Hostel Facilities
Actually mess on campus is only available during elections. The rest of the time has to be dependant on outside campus meals and tiffins. WiFi also not available at some places.
Alumni/Alumna
The most lacking point of university is no proper management of alumni and no updated information's on alumni university. Students may not have full access to ex but connecting.
Exam Structure
The day schedule, term and exams are arranged very well and the evaluation system is also excellent. Paper checking, evaluation, and result release are mostly from time to time.
