Remarks

Good Infrastructure for marine studies with decent placement history was the driving factor. Faculties are also very trained and experienced. The ship-in campus inside the main campus seemed one of the best in maritime colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus for our college designed by MIT ADT University and approved by DG Shipping, India is very recent and doesn't have any discrepancies. The faculties are really experienced and well trained. Marine faculties included ex-chief engineer and ex-captains which is really great and thus helps us getting a decent insight in this field. VG Mehendale, Sandeep Chitre and AV Kadam, Mrs. Seema Pundale, Capt. SS Gokhale are some of the best teaching staffs present there.

Placement Experience

BW maritime, Maersk Lines, MOL, Maersk Tankers, Shevron, MOLTA, Five star shipping, MSC, TORM, Synergy Group College select cadets on the basis of 12th PCM percentage along with overall percentage in all semesters and prepare a list which they send to the company. Then companies take a written or online test after which the cadets who pass the exam are selected and then they appear for a technical interview.

College Events

Once in a year a techno- cultural fest Persona fest is organised in month of February lasting for around 4 days, other than that National Maritime day celebration in college auditorium and a State level Sports meet with participants all across states are welcomed.

Campus Life

Excellent infrastructure with good facilities for maritime training including Seamanship labs, 4G welding labs, Machine labs, Electrical and electronics labs, Computer labs with internet connectivity, CCTV in hostel and academic building, Sports complex, Boat club for rowing and much more.

Hostel Facilities

Very good living facilities in hostel. 3 cadets in one room with separate cupboards, tables and chairs. Wi-Fi and CCTV are also present. Room inspections are carried by hostel Wardens on regular basis and ambulance facility is also available in case of emergency.

An awesome journey.

To sum it all up iam delighted that I opted for this college. I got placement in one of the best companies because if this college placement cell. This college has a great infrastructure and all the necessary aids for the successful completion of my course. The management is very helpful. The faculty altogether is really good and upto the standards when it comes to knowledge and experience.The only area where my college needs an improvement is in the staff during the first year of our college as a lot of newly graduated students are appointed as tea hers which are not able to take the pressure.
