Kajishma's Review On Crescent College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences Payangadi, Kannur

This college is near to my home when compared to other colleges. And one of my family friend suggested this college. My university is kerala university. My college is situated in an area which is a popular tourist place in kannur, it is also well known for protecting various animals and plants which belongs to rare species. It is such a beutiful place. Also a reputed college. The course is very interesting, as we can know more about the drugs and how the drugs effect our body etc. Knowing about those drugs which we commonly use is so informative.

Syllabus updation was perfect. As there is subjects which more related to the industry. Sometimes the syllabus were feeling like a burden as in few semster we were having more tough subjects. But comparing with the year system far better is semester system. We had enough industrial visits but due to this pandemic year we had lost the opportunity. But our staffs have told us that they will try to their best, which is of hope. Faculties are good especially teachers are understanding and always supportive, encourage us in our works as well as they will point out our mistakes without partiality and show us the right path. Exeptions are there since few are not at all bothered about us, but this is a common disadvantage in every college.

We dont have placements as from my knowledge. we didnt have eni placements only we have a final year project and industrial visit.

We didn't had many events as we are experincing much more difficult times year after year so all the funds which have been collected for this purpose were given for charity purposes and as relief funds. We had 3 events which were very nice and well organised, as well as with maximum participation of the students.

Size of the library is small but provides lots of book. Exeptional cases with certain new books as our syllabus is new. Equipment in the labs are there in which e few of them are old and few equipment are not available but as for my knowledge they have been booked and will be ariving at the fastest. Some of the equipment have already been replaced.
