Remarks

I have always been fascinated about buildings and construction. And so I wanted to pursue my career in Civil or Construction engineering. Also this institute is a Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) and I got my desired branch

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is quite comfortable and gradual. But I find the academic marking scheme a bit harsh. Also there are great faculties and average ones too. The placement sector is numb though. I hope with the upcoming years there will be development in this too

Internships Opportunities

Yes. I have. It is a educational company named Vanaahaa. It was an unpaid internship. The subject was Building Planing Design and Analysis. It was a software based internships. I did three projects.

Placement Experience

1

I don't really know much about it. I have no idea. I have never paid attention to that as I always have planned for further studies. So I don't know about it

College Events

4.5

Campus life is very calming. In the evening the campus looks so beautiful. Also due to the presence of various playgrounds, students are very much active into sports. The annual events are of a prime attraction in the state

Campus Life

The infrastructure is one of the most beautiful ones throughout north-east. Hostels are very well built. The rooms are quite spacious. Bathrooms are in adequate numbers. We have free wifi. Also there are various playgrounds.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel inside the campus and 2 girls hostel outside campus. Hostels are very up to the mark. The quality of rooms are comparable to IITs. We have 24*7 free wifi. Also bathroom facilities are quite nice. There are adequate number of bathrooms and toilets. The hostels are very large and can accommodate upto 400 students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• I always loved plants, trees and forest as my father is from Forest background. So, I wanted to walk on his footsteps and do something is same background. I always dreamt of making a change in the society and serve the society so I choose Botany subject. •The curriculum is planned in such a way that we learn both theoretically and practically, we go on field trips where we interact with common people and do surveys that will help us in future while working on the department •There is no such areas that needs improvement, I like the way it is going on and the teaching method is also nice, only the thing is there should not be so many classes in one day, as a student gets very exhaust •The frequency and timing of exams is that in sessional its 25 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes and its easy to moderate, and 2nd is final which is of 50 marks with 2 hours 30 minutes and its moderate to hard
