Remarks

The placement for hotel management student is very good. And the package is also satisfactory. The infrastructure is too good. It is safe for girls specially the campus. Namely and reputed college. My first and foremost priority is placement tlso the only reason i came lpu is for placement.

No. There no such industrial exposure. Even though we ae hotel management student we need industrial exposure but there is no such things Faculties are the best. They bare very supportive and understanding Ishita gurung Nikhil monga

As far as i know its best. Alot of students have got placement but it depends on students qualifications and skills they posses

College Events

It provides lots of opportunities to students to buils their CV. Events in lpu increases freativity of students. Very big events are conducted and students get alot of chances to participate and showcase their talent

Campus Life

Very good amd provides lots of opportunities Developed and secured Wifi is available Library is too huge but it has been a spot for couple It is good but need to improve Labs are good too The sports evnei provide alot of opportunities

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are not so clean and hygienic. It could improve more in cleanliness. According to our payment for rooms the rooms are not upto that level. It is not satisfactory. It has fo improve more. Food is good. Satisfactory

This is a very good college. Different types of course available in the college. I choose the BA course which is not too hard. Because the college facility is too good. In the exam the time is not sufficient for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I have a great interest in teaching. The faculty members were good. In my class, the ratio of faculty: student was 1:80. Some faculty members were PhD scholars and some were postgraduates. The teaching method was very good as there are good labs and apparatus for the practical work. There were class tests and mid-semester exams. Before every semester exam, there were midterms. The difficulty level used to be moderate.

Remarks:

I did not get admission in any other good college as my JEE Mains result was 85 percentile only. My 12th result was quite good in this aspect with PCM% as 96.33%. So I decided to go for Thapar as it allowed admissions through 12th PCM% and was the best college I was getting. Thapar has NIRF ranking 25 and good placement records which made me choose Thapar as my college for Under Graduation studies. The thing I like most about the college is that it's huge and it's infrastructure is very good with all the advanced technologies equipped. Also the culture in Thapar is pretty friendly and healthy competition is also there which is required for a person's overall growth. I have opted for Computer Engineering in Thapar as I've always been interested in computer science subject and have taken computer in my 12th class too. So, I had a fair idea and quite an interest in this subject.

Admission:

I got an admission into this college using my NEET UG score. My NEET score was more than 45% and I was pretty confident that i would get admission into one of the reputed colleges. As per my score, I was shortlisted by various institutions but out of them all I felt the performance of this college to be satisfactory and finalised my admission.

Well there are mainly negative points which already discussed in upward or the hostel facilities are bad and they teach very bad to the students they only gives assignments to the students which is not good for students and fees is very expensive
