Remarks
Near to my hometown. So it's so easy for me to get here during weekend and holidays. I chose mechanical because I love math and tech. Mechanical is the domain where both puts a great score. The thing that I like most about my college is green campus, many good professors. No diversion because mobile phones are restricted here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical is majorly categorized into production, design and thermal. But, I had a huge love on thermal at the end of the course. I think, Its the impact of my thermal professors. Dr.N.Bose, Mr.Vijayragavan, Mr. Lionel beneston are my thermal professors.
Placement Experience
Placement is good for Cs, It students. About 50 to 60 companies in 2019-2020 in campus are software companies. Even its good for circuit department. But, placemnt rate is very low for mechanical. This scenario is not only for mechanical but also for all colleges in surroundings. Its because of drop of automobile and manufacturing sector.
College Events
Gyanmitra, legacy are the intracultural festivals. Fiesta is for inter. College was quite strict. No boys and girls interaction. Mental pressure will be high, if you come here in the mindset of enjoying. But for learning engineering, Its a very good place
Fees and Financial Aid
If cgba is above 8.5 at the end of every odd semester without any disiplinary action, one can get a scholarship of minimum 15000 for an year.
Campus Life
A student is allowed to use 10gb data per month in college. A hosteller will get extra 10gb in the bag. Most of the websites are blocked. So, because of that some geniune knowledge gaining platform can't be accessed. Library is quite good and big enough. About 100000 books are available there. Equipments in labs are advanced and in good condition.
Hostel Facilities
There are 5 boys and 5 ladies hostels there. Hostel food is also not so good. In hostel also, mobile is not allowed. You can't go outing all the weekdays. 2 days per week for boys depends on the year, It varies. For Girls, No outing. Hostel to college and hostel to home. Even, girls should go home only with guardian or they can opt the special govt. Bus. The spl.means, it will come to gate of the girls hostel. No trepassers are allowed. But, the rate is 2 to 3 times higher.
