Remarks

Getting admission in the college is easy compared to other central delhi colleges and it's affiliated to GGSIPU a well known University. The transport facility is easily available to the college and is near to main spots of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is updated and regulated by the GGSIPU, exams are also controlled and conducted by GGSIPUIndustrial exposure is also there and the workshops are conducted to give working exposure to the students

Placement Experience

5

Placement at the campus especially for the Tool Engineering students is decent with placement upto even 99% in previous years. The main recruiter at the campus is Maruti who take 4-8 students each year giving the highest package of 8 lakhs per annum

College Events

2

Campus life at DITE, Okhla is not a dream student life as many simple factors which help to give an overall experience are not present.Events are conducted but are at very small level and under low and constraint budget but student community are strong. They organise and participate in various activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college used to be good, with almost 100% placement rates. But that hasn't been the case lately. There has been a significant drop in placement rates from the past couple of years, mainly because of the lack of job oppertunities and declining job markets. But, the placements are still better as compared to private colleges, NITs and newer IITs. The placements here are conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 placements start in August- September, with the interviews starting from 1 December. The phase-2 placements start from January and then go on for entire semester. The student becomes eligible for sitting in placements in their 7th semester. While phase 2 placements are still not over for this year, I can share the placements stats of previous year. Around 70% students sitting for placements got placed. Rest students either prepare for civil services, or for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA,PhD, etc., but their percentage is very less. Most students come here only for internships and placements. The average package package for previous year was around ?15-16 LPA, and median package was around ?14 PLA.
