It is a reputed Institute with 203 years of legacy. The faculty is one of the best in the city with greater exposure and wider arena of opportunities. The extracurricular activities are also encouraged here with a plethora of opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am highly satisfied with the course syllabus since it has incorporated modern understanding of the subject while retaining the traditional ones. It is not only about theoretical understanding but also involves numerous field works in order to understand societal issues better. It also encourages a lot of researches in our paper presentations that not only boosts our confidence in public speaking and presentation but also inspires us to move forward with our work to contribute fruitfully in our discipline.
Internships Opportunities
I have worked as a full-time secondary teacher in a school named Angela High School for three months after my graduation. I also have worked as a content writer in the Noetbook. I have also worked as a volunteer in Bhumi.
Placement Experience
It is good. A lot of companies visit here. And research facilities are also ample here with PhD programs. The Alumni is also very active here with regard to job referrals and other needful activities.
College Events
The campus life is great provided the infrastructure and faculties that exist. There are numerous cultural and educational fests that keep happening throughout the year. Various seminars, sports, competitions, paper presentations, celebration of important days such as International Yoga Day, World Environment Day and others are celebrated with great zeal and encouragement.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any loan. I have managed to get my admission completely based on the entrance and other needful criteria mentioned above. First, the clearence of the entrance is important. And then even if one manages to get admission, the expense shouldn't be a problem because it's very nominal. For further queries one may approach the university help desk.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is the best one can have. It has 3 libraries, around 5 canteens, numerous labs with advanced equipments. Extracurricular activities are encouraged with the availability of at least 2 auditoriums, a huge field, badminton court, table tennis room and various others. To ensure the safety of women there is a girls common room for any kind of assistance. Water and sanitation facilities are great and very hygienic. There is an availability of Wifi throughout the campus. Digital library is also available for the students. Overall, the campus infrastructure is aplaudable.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is also one of the best. The food, water, sanitation, behavior of the people at hostel service is great. Hostel facilities also needs some criteria to be fulfilled. The distance, family income and the marks of the students are taken into consideration before granting the seats. The seats are limited hence such a criteria has been kept.
