Vivek Raj's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Management Studies - [MAIMS], New Delhi

It is one of the best college for Journalism & Mass communication course affiliated to IP University , as in DU you only get Journalism but not mass comunication , and that too in very less colleges. IP university provides mostly professional & technical courses unlike DU. So, its obvious to go to IP university for such professional course and this college is ranked 2nd for Journalism & mass communication. And one more important reason for this college is that it is situated in Delhi and Delhi has max media houses , so its easy to get internships while studying which gives you the practical experience in the field.

Course currriculum is follwed of IP University which is as per the UGC guidelines . The syllabus deals extremely well for both theory and practical learning. The college provides very well industrial exposure by taking students to various Print & Electronic Media houses , e.g ZEE News , NEWS 18 network , ABP News , Amar Ujala , etc. The faculties are very experienced as most of them have done their doctorates & have enough experience of working in various media houses and are well efficienet in teaching procedures , such as Dr. Nisha Singh , Dr. Vinita Gupta .

My 1st year just got completed few days back and this was the time for doing internship , but due to this COVID-19 pandemic it was very unfortunate . Although I was selected in Press Trust Of India for 2 months internship for the months June and July . Apart from this I worked as an content writer intern for INTELLIFY , I was also INTERNSHALA STUDENT PARTNER & college ambassdor for INTERNSHALA.

For B.tech & MBA courses , the college holds a very good placement board who invites big companies like Amazon , Microsoft , JP Morgan , Infosys , etc. From this year onwards college has also made placement board for BJMC , BBA , LLB also . Till now college only helped students by recommendation letter or faculties helped genuinely to get the placement done for stuents , but till now it was off campus placements.

Campus life and crowd here is awesome . There are many fests and functions continuously being held throughout the year . The annual fest of college is GENESIS . There are many societies in the college who also conducts their respective fests in the college , such as the film and photography society WAC (What A Click) conducts their fest CHHAYANKAN , which is the largest photography fest in all over Delhi NCR. The theatre society "Samagra" also organizes their fest TAMASHA & MANZAR . Management , Literary , Sports , Dance societies also organizes their fest every year. The students from all over the country participates in the fests and big brands also come to sponsor the fests .

The infrastructure of this colllege is sufficient enough . It has the largest campus when compared to all other IP University colleges. It has proper lab facilities for practical experinces . Library is also here very rich , you can get all kinds of books & magazines for all courses. The library building is itself a separate big block . Comung to sports facilities , it has a large football ground , tennis court , volleyball court , basketball court , indoor badminton court and also has a gym . Campus also have 5 different canteens inside the college premises.

College has a good hostel having enough capacity including single , double , triple sharing AC or Non AC rooms . It also has a good mess and washing machines and water coolers on each floors . It is easy to get hostel , you have to ask for it while admission process .There are also PGs outside the college in huge numbers which also have a excellent facilities having average price for 4k per person in 2 bed sharing rooms.
