Honest Review about BGC

I pursued my UG from Biyani Girls College, Jaipur. The reason of selecting this college is 1. The college is safe for girls 2. Proper discipline 3. Regular lectures 4. Numerous events 5. Good opportunities regarding career But some bad things about college are: 1. Worse overall management 2. Improper time management 3. Campus is congested 4. Uniform material is not skin-friendly 5. Worse parking facility

Excellent faculty members, but due to improper time management and improper college management, the balance between college events and studies are not in an equal ratio. All the science department faculties are Ph. D holders and are very well qualified as well as very good knowledge of their respective subjects/ fields. In every 2-3 months, we are having our internal exams and in January we are having our pre-university exams and in March-april we are having the main university exams and it's very difficult to pass the exams because in Rajasthan University nothing is literally predictable except for the question papers.

No internships are available for any of the department, they provide training and guidance on how to clear an interview, how you can find exact jobs you want. But no as such internships or trainings are available for the students. Favorite students or the students of Biotech department have the chance to visit Japan for an educational trip.

Campus placements are only for the professional courses like BCA, BBA, MBA, MCA, nursing, law, etc No placements for BA/B.SC/ B. COMM And they have mentioned 100% placements in their college prospectus

For the B. Sc maths course the fees for 1 year is ?65, 000 and this fees is same for all the 3 years. Fees structure may be get changed as per according to the mood of management. From this year only, the scholarship pattern is started for students and it is as same as of other colleges. Campus placements or any other placements is only and only for the professional degrees, no placements for B. Sc/B. A / B. COMM.

There are numerous events held every year in BGC as follows 1. Sports events 2. NCC events 3. NSS events 4. Republic Day celebration 5. Independence day celebration 6. Orientation for freshers 7. BICON- Indo-Japan Bilateral conference 8. RAJJAY- annual intercollege fest 9. Annual function of college 10. Felicitation ceremony 11. Dandiya function Availability of books: No reference books. No new editions were there for us, we had to study 19 years old editions and after that no caution money is returned to us. No journals. We have a student council in our college, the whole is designed by the management, students have no right to decide their leaders in short the student council is just a bullshit in BGC.

When we compare the condition of hostel and the price charging for hostel, the ratio is not equal. As our management is charging way too much for the hostel and the hostel is not that good, gym facility is mentioned in the prospectus of college but there is no proper facility of gym, No proper halls or rooms for dance practice, half of our time wasted, searching for proper dance hall or room for practice. No phones are allowed in the hostel of our college, in the time span of 24 hours ,only 1.5 or 2 hours is allotted for the phones. As i was not a hosteller so I can't describe about the food or any other stuff.

There is no interview process for the admission, just a counselling regarding the course which you want to study and in the remaining time, the management would like to appreciate the college. Watching this scenario is quite funny. the next thing they tell the students is obviously the fees structure. after this thing, they will send you the IAS block so that the IAS faculty can make you and your parents agree to get admission in college as well as in the IAS classes as well just to grab very extra money from your parents.
