Remarks

Placement is good. Campus is awesome with DY Patil Stadium located inside the campus. Enough exposure to various activities as the same campus has medical college, law college and a hospital too. You get to interact with not only engineerings but with also students from BAMS, BHMS, MBBS and LAW. Overall good for personality development. Hostels and mess available. There are more than 6 canteens. Infrastructure is good. Faculty is good and they give everything a practical approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course syllabus is well updated. But theres not enough industrial exposure. The faculty was good except sneha mane (Extc dep) Overall faculty is good. There are a 2-3 teachers who are troublesome.

Placement Experience

4.5

They are extremely good. Even before the placement, college organises a summer class with TIMEs. They help you with aptitude tests and they also take mock GD and PI. They also organise startup talks with the fellow alumni who are entrepreneurs now

College Events

5

There are tech festa every semester. There a culture fest in month of feb. You get enough exposure to the fests also you can enter into other college fests too which are located in the same campus. For college fest there will be one edm night and 1 Bollywood singer night too

Campus Life

Infrastructure is the best I feel. The library is well equipped with computers and ACs. Sitting arrangement is also very comfortable. Lab equipment is also in good condition. Classes are good too.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I didn’t opt for college hostel. I was staying in a private hostel. But college hostel is good with enough privacy. Not much restrictions. News buildings are being built. And for the each current hostel building it has a mess/ canteen on the ground floor.

Placement Experience:

PICT is known for its placement record, so talking about it more. In the academic year AY 2023-24, even though a massive recession hit the IT industry, PICT students held off and held off quite well. 706 people out of 760 enrolled got placed into a company which makes 92.89% placement. Rest were placed off-campus. The average package CTC was 13.01LPA while the median package CTC was 10.11 LPA. Around 110 companies visited the campus. The hghest package was CTC 47.28 LPA provided by Adobe for Software Engineer role. I am planning on getting placed in a multinational company with a good pay package or do higher studies in physics.

T&P cell of our college works hard to get maximum of our students placed. Those who opt to not get placed are generally those who are preparing for entrance exams. Companies like Cognizant, Tata motors, Forbes marshall, Dassault systems, Volkswagen etc. The highest offered has been 22 LPA Average package is 5 LPA. 90% of students get placed.

I took, Maharashtra state entrance exam (MH CET) and scored 127 (100 in exam and 227 in GDPI) to get admission in this college. I opt for MAE due to its reputation and MIT as a brand name. Moreover I was hopeful to get a campus placement support from the college.

The managements is quite good but a right time should be allotted for every department to pay fees and examination fees because when all of the students come togather to pay, there becomes a lot of rush and its takes long time and students have to wait in queue.
